Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kilkenny

After having to hastily leave a pre-booked stay on a different platform due to very poor level of cleanliness and premises not at all as decribed. We were overjoyed to arrive at Ciara's clean, comfortable home where we had a wonderful stay in Ciara's beautiful home We felt like we were visiting a friends home, Ciara has made a very warm, welcoming space for her guests to relax in. We especially loved the woodburning stove.The house is in a quiet peaceful area yet it easy to walk into town. Ciara went out of her way to help us and we were most grateful, she also gave excellent recomendations for restaurants and places of interest and we are looking forward to staying again when next we visit Kilkenny.

Roisin was very nice and always responsive. She gave us great recommendations and she was very friendly. We loved the home, location and most of all the space for the kids to play both inside and outside. Felt right at home.

Rosin was such a good host very flexible, very good communication from her , the house was perfect for the amount of us and only a 10 mintute drive away from the city centre , would definitely stay again

Since day one Joe and Madeline were very helpful. Very easy to find when driving there and instructions for checking in etc were very clear. Surroundings was beautiful felt at peace and would definitely visit again. Each cabin had their own kitchen area with everything you need. Shower and toilet facilities were close as well. We will definitely be returning

We had a very nice and peaceful stay. We were impressed by the attention to detail. The host stocked the kitchen with essentials, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Very nice view from the cottage terrace.

I loved my stay in this special place. So peaceful and a great location in the Comeragh Mountains. I loved the indoors/outdoors living and I will definitely be returning for a longer stay. This magical place will linger in my memory ... a wonderful place for forest-bathing .. Shinrin-yoku ... I sat outside until late ... absorbing all this place has to offer sipping copious mugs of tea and eating those delicious brownies ... Thanks Madeline and Joe

We stayed here for the long weekend and it was amazing, so peaceful and relaxing. It was exactly was we were looking for the scenery was beautiful and we had fresh scones waiting for us when we arrived! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway, The place was spotless and super cool. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be staying again in the future!!

We loved our stay at 'The Cabin'. My husband, son and myself were in Ireland for a family gathering and chose The Cabin for it's location, we also loved how it looked online, and appreciated the positive reviews. The accommodation was perfect for us. Alison has clearly put a lot of thought into the whole experience and it really shows. The furnishings are so tasteful and homely. The kitchen is equipped perfectly. The beds are extremely comfortable, we slept really well for the 4 nights we were there. We loved the quirkiness of it, the outside bath is such a nice touch, something you don't think you need, until you use it, such a lovely added feature. The Cabin is fairly new, so it is fresh and modern, Alison clearly has exceptionally high standards and manages to make it so sparkling clean that you almost feel you are the first people to stay there, it is truly that clean and immaculate, this was truly appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, and highly recommend it.
