Our traditional Mongolian yurt is located on pasture land at our home on the edge of the Galloway Forest, a Dark Sky Park. With sunset views in one direction & the peaks of the Southern Uplands in the other, enjoy the panorama or sit by the River Cree, which crosses our land. Relax in the wood fired hot tub, sauna & plunge pool (extra fee applies). 10 mins from Loch Trool, mountain bike trails, wild swimming spots & hiking routes, guests are perfectly placed to explore this unspoilt region.

Lies within the peaceful village of Barr, surrounded by natural beauty. It offers plenty of wildlife, enchanting walks, cycle rides, fishing, golf and picturesque picnic spots. Its central Ayrshire location lends itself to miles of unspoilt beaches, the Galloway Hills and numerous other attractions to suit all tastes and interests

Courtyard Cottage @ Threave Farm

SA00013F Courtyard Cottage is one bedroom self catering property situated between Kirkmichael and Crosshill. Close to the walking village of Straiton and near to the dark sky park, we also have the ‘Ayrshire Alps’ on our doorstep for cyclists. We are less than a five minute drive from Dalduff wedding venue. Turnberry golf course is 15 minutes drive away and Royal Troon approximately 30 minutes away. There are many beautiful beaches Culzean castle and Dumfries House all within a short drive.

Gladneuk Cottage, Barr

Welcome to Gladneuk Cottage, a house situated in the Conservation Village of Barr nestled in the Stinchar Valley on the edge of the Galloway Forrest (see Barr Village website). Enjoy scenic walks, take in the fresh air and enjoy the peace and quiet, a lovely comfortable cottage perfect for you and your family/guests to relax. With off street parking, Wifi and a private seating area to the rear of the property. Barr has its own Community Store should you require provisions.

The Haven & Summer Hoose

The Haven and Summer Hoose are a cosy yet spacious cottage and quirky cabin that come hand in hand. The Haven cottage itself oozes charm with log burner and all the home comforts you could hope for. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

Kirkbride Garden Cottage

Welcome to Kirkbride Garden Cottage. Our 2 bedroom, family cottage, sits on the Kirkbride estate on edge of the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park. We are a stones throw away from 4 of Ayrshire's best wedding venues, Dalduff Farm, Barwhey's Farm, Blairquhan Castle & Cloncaird Castle. We are 20 minutes from our beautiful coastline, surrounded by some of Scotland's award winning golf courses; from Turnberry and Old Prestwick to a selection of courses in Troon and afar.

Gemilston Studio

Gemilston Studio is set on the edge of a conservation village in the grounds of former manse. Charming, secluded, close to the Community Shop and Cafe. Sunny terrace, access to large garden. Beautiful rolling country. Local activities - golf, walking, star gazing, wild swimming, riding, fishing, cycling; near beaches, Galloway Forest Park, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House & Burns Museum. Ten minutes from Dalduff and Blairquhan wedding venues.

Kyle Lodge at The Old Church, secluded retreat

Kyle Lodge is our new one bed lodge set in the private grounds of our larger property, The Old Church (which sleeps 12). It is a private and exceptionally comfortable space featuring a roll top bath with views of open countryside. The secluded and sheltered covered decking area with woodburner allows you to enjoy nature all year round. The local grocery shop is a 5 minute walk, with many restaurants and outdoor attractions only a short drive.

Lady Farm - Bargany

An old coaching inn set in a peaceful corner of Bargany Estate next to the river Girvan. Finished in June 2024 the whole cottage has been redone and is now ready for holiday rentals. With 4 bedrooms it can comfortably sleep up to 8 people and two well-behaved dogs welcome. Perfect for family holidays or getaways with a group of friends. It has a large enclosed private garden and is surrounded by beautiful countryside and peaceful walks.
