Rose Cottage has a history dating back to the 1800s. "Rose Cottage Farm" is a separate unit contained in an extension to the original farmhouse (2023) with its own external entrance. Despite its rural ambiance, "Rose Cottage Farm" is conveniently positioned at the end of the N5 on the outskirts of Westport, just 1 km from the town center. Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
