Through the slider barn door to a large bedroom with plush king bed, laden with luxury linen and a walk in wardrobe leaving you ample space,+ comfortable reading chair. Walk though to the walk in tile shower, handbasin and toilet- there is also a Laundry in your room.

Located in the centre of the North Island, this Hobbit-styled accommodation offers privacy and peace. Luxury glamping combines a hot shower and flush toilet with an outdoor fire and a hammock under the grapevine. Created from recycled materials on an organic permaculture lifestyle block complete with pet sheep, ducks on the driveway, seasonal fruit, and friendly greetings from the dog. Experience our bespoke, solar powered cabin, rustic but surrounded by nature. With an outdoor bath, ( not hot tub) overlooking the river. This private area is perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with yourself. Wear covering clothing outdoors for insects 15 minutes from Hobbiton, close to Te Waihou Blue spring and Waiwere falls. Arriving at night, follow the solar lights. Dogs are welcome but no aggressive dogs. Please take your waste with you, we have don’t have bins in rural areas.

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).
