[Kiso Komakogen] An old house built 150 years ago. Room with bunk beds (2-5 people) [Family] [Group] [Room only]

A 150-year-old house with a large roof in Nagano Prefecture, located in the Kiso Komagatake Highlands at the foot of Mt. Kiso Komagatake. This is a private accommodation where the owner lives (homestay type). This room has a bunk bed and was made with the image of an old-fashioned youth hostel. Yes, this building was once a youth hostel. I took over the management of the building in 2024 and am renovating it with DIY in order to make it a place where you can easily stay. At night, you can hear frogs, insects, and deer in the distance, and in the morning, you can hear the birds in the bustling mountains. There is no air conditioning because the summer night breeze is around 20°C and you can spend the night with just a fan. In winter, it can be 15 ° C below freezing, and sometimes you can see diamond dust. There is a wood stove in the shared space, but it is not a central heater even though it is a cold area! We provide an oil fan heater in the room. This is the best heating facility we can provide at this time. Thank you for your understanding. It is a room-only stay without meals. Feel free to cook in the shared kitchen where everyone gathers. It is fully equipped with cookware and dishes. I will be coming with 7 and 4 year old children. It is 25 minutes by bus from Kiso-Fukushima Station and 3 minutes on foot from Oharaue Bus Stop.
