Beautiful view and place. The place does need some updating and painting done however the view is absolutely beautiful.

Janice was super responsive. The cottage was very comfortable. Only issue was early morning chainsaw action by a neighbor on Friday, but otherwise my experience was very calming and the view is pretty. Lastly, the cookies were awesome! Thank you!!!

Exactly what i needed. it was so quiet and out of the way, but close enough to the city for some adventures. and i was greeted by their sweet and playful puppy which was such a nice surprise! definitely a lovely getaway and location!

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful weekend getaway as our kids were out of town. This looked like it would check off the boxes we were looking for. The space was just right for us. Waking up to the incredible beauty of hood canal, easy access to the water so we could drop our kayaks and go. Beautiful wildlife including many bald eagles, harbor seals, sea stars, sea cucumbers, octopus, oysters, clams, the list goes on. We cannot wait to come back!

You really can’t complain with free access to fresh oysters right outside your doorstep. The cabins are perfectly simple, private feeling, and include a soothing view of the water. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved this charming little bungalow on the Hood Canal. The view was wonderful and the beds were comfortable.

Beautiful stay right by the water! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting around Olympic National Park area. Close proximity to great oysters and hiking.

Great stay! Had everything we needed. Check-in was simple as we were greeted at the road upon arrival. The firepit was really pleasant and all amenities were in good working order. The farm tour was very fun too. Thank you very much!

The little house is super cozy and comfy! Everything had been super tidy and well equipped. The view on the lake from all windows is amazing, great outdoor area and balcony on first floor. We loved our weekend at Makayla's place and would totally recommend 🤗 Thanks a lot also for the sweet welcome gift & beautiful interior!

We had a wonderful stay at the tiny house. It is right in nature and close to all the highlights of the Olympic National Park. The tiny house has everything you need for a quiet and laid back stay in the forest. Alexandra is a great host. She responded to all our messages quickly and was very helpful. We are looking forward to stay at the tiny house again soon.

Perfect hosts and perfect place! I loved my time at the bungalow. It’s even better than the pics. The furnishings and landscaping are beautiful. The bed is very comfortable and there’s plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower. The view of the bay is great from both outside and inside. Lots of birds from humming bird to bald eagles. I even saw an orca! The hosts were super friendly and kind. Wonderful folks! I’d love to stay here again. 10/10

I love unique stays like this hobbit house! It’s so adorable! We loved the little touches inside like cookies, teas, coloring supplies, & books. We had a great island adventure!

Perfect spot for my weekend retreat with my partner. Cozy, beautiful, and serene with so much wildlife to enjoy. Especially enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while looking up at the trees and listening to the forest sounds. Check in was super easy. Bed is very comfortable. It is a small cabin and the bed loft is in a small space at the top of a ladder, so may not be the best fit for larger folks or those who have mobility issues, but worked great for me and my partner.

Great spot. Loved the nautical theme. Spectacular views of the Sound. Comfy beds. Decently stocked kitchen. The shower/bathroom was a bit on the small side, but easy to overlook considering all the amazing amenities of the spot. Loved being able to get down to the water! Would highly recommend even though selfishly would prefer to keep it a secret. Have to let go of the things we love ;)

This was my second time staying at Tidy House. Love the layout of the space, and great location close to the village center. Thoughtful amenities (plates, cups, silverware and coffee fixings). There is also space to hang clothes and a small refrigerator and microwave. The art makes the place cozy. Definitely one of the best on Vashon.

My wife and I spent a week at Pinecone Cottage and had the most amazing time. The lake is serene and picturesque and the cabin itself was fantastic. We ended up staying in most days instead of going into town, and loved every single second relaxing in the house. I would absolutely come back the moment I am able as this is a fantastic location for a truly relaxing and peaceful vacation.

Very cute tiny home. The property was amazing! The views were spectacular! It was an extremely peaceful place to stay, being able to use Heather’s kayaks was incredible! Absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Heather was very easy to communicate with and very helpful. Her place is worth every penny!!!

Tom's Little Gemma cabin is wonderful, and just what I needed. It was quiet and peaceful and provided the perfect spot for my little sabbatical retreat. The table was a great workspace with a view of the green, grassy meadow with wildflowers popping up here & there. Sitting on the deck I saw a variety of birds taking a dip in the birdbath or nibbling on a local plant. The cabin is so cozy and comfortable! I loved sitting in the comfy chair reading my book and enjoyed a few naps as well. The cabin and the bathroom were both clean and the little fridge allowed me to pick up a few groceries for the week, which was great. Tom was a great host and was always available if I needed him. Even with a small question, he responded quickly and was so helpful. I will definitely stay at Little Gemma again. Thanks for a great week, Tom!

A literal dream. The most peaceful serene surroundings and our dog had the time of her life an absolute perfect place to stay, especially after a day of hiking. Thank you so much for opening up your home to us. We will most definitely be back.
