Fishermen & Hunter's Lodge. Pet friendly

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What gave this place value was the convenience of having my boat parked right in front of our door. I could clean up the boat and get it ready for the next days fishery. I could walk across the street to Bob’s Texas steakhouse for very reasonably priced food and drinks. Located directly behind the Gorge outfitters store, I was able to get what I need every morning and off to the fishery before most or even getting out of bed. Wendy was a great host and I was there if we needed her.

Charming House in Lyle

SandyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Everything worked fine, it was very clean. An interesting house in a very small town on the river. You could watch the para-sailers on the Columbia river. Not from the house, but it was in a beautiful area. It was set up for dogs, which we appreciated because we brought our dog, Bowen. Big beautiful fenced yard. Our dog spent a lot of time back there. Beautiful plants too, lots of colorful perennials, if a dog ran over it, it would be ok. We knew that there were limited store and restaurant around so we brought our own food. Worked fine. We enjoyed the house and the small town and would come back!

Columbia Gorge Guest House: What a View!

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. The views from inside gave way to the beautiful Mt Hood vistas downtown the Hood River. That was just indoors. Outside seating gave more spectacular views. The bird life was amazing as were the gardens. We could’ve stayed there and not done any thing else. The mattress gave good nights sleep with very comfortable linens. Patty thought of everything to make the stay comfortable. Very clean and plenty of towels The little kitchen with microwave and toaster kept me from cooking 😁 Hikes were not too far away and beautiful (Tom McCall Point Trail) yet very windy with gusts. Location of the stay was peaceful and easily accessible to downtown Hood River. I would return for longer stay for sure.

Retro FabCabin Near Mt Adams

A peaceful spot to get away from urban life for a bit. The dogs loved roaming around the property. The neighbor dogs barked some but not too badly. Loved walking around the little trail encircling the property line.

Cozy guesthouse tucked in the trees

TimothyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My wife and I spent two nights there and everything was a dream. The location was secluded peaceful and quiet. The directions for the home and amenities were easy to follow and Kalani kept in good communication with us prior to, during, and after the visit. We loved the entire trip and would recommend others to stay. Thanks Kalani!

J&J Forest Cabin Stay

KristaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Joy’s tiny house is fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Pristine, cute, comfortable, and a beautiful location. Everything has so much thought and care put into it. The outdoor shower was amazing- loved that. Outdoor kitchen with the gas grill was awesome. We cooked our food the whole time. The composting toilet was super clean. Not stinky or uncomfortable in the least, for those who might be reluctant to pull the trigger on this gem because of it. Joy and Joshua are super friendly, helpful hosts. You could hear the river all day, owls and turkey at night. Bugs weren’t too bad. So much hiking nearby. 10/10 overall. We would love to be back!

River View Home. Walk to beach/park/town

KathyRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Four adults and a small dog were quite comfortable for our three night visit. Kitchen was well appointed. Bedrooms comfy. Bathroom spotless. Living room cute and cozy. Enjoyed sitting on the deck for afternoon cocktails and watching the world go by. The house sits on the hillside and has a good view of the Columbia river, and also overlooks the town park and lagoon which was lovely. We were aware of the proximity to freeway and train tracks, so considered that part of the view and experience. There is an easy walk from the neighborhood down a flight of stairs and across the train tracks into town where we could get to all the basics - grocery store, hardware store, coffee place and pub/restaurant. Can’t say enough about host, Mel who was super responsive, friendly and helpful, getting back to us quickly both before and during our stay. We enjoyed our time and would stay here again.
