Sports cottage at Vemdalsskalet

Modern sports cottage with 6 beds of about 80 sqm with high cozy factor! Built in 2014. Nice and quiet location overlooking the valley and the ski area. Close to the centre of the shell (1.5 km walk). Close to hiking trails and cross country trails. In the winter you can get to and from the ski system via the marked ski trail. For those interested in fishing, it is close to lakes and streams. House with a private jetty and a view of Klövsjön and the ski slope. Here you live cozily with a fireplace, functional and spacious kitchen, most beds (6) distributed in two bedrooms on the upper floor. Slalom is only a few minutes away and cross-country trails are available both in the village and on top of Klövsjöfjäll. The hot tub is lovely and firewood is included in the rent. Ice fishing equipment is available. In winter, the road is plowed down to the house if necessary and a winter-equipped car is a prerequisite for getting around smoothly.

After a day up in the mountains, you can come in to the sauna, cuddle up on the sofa by the fireplace or enjoy a dinner around the large dining table in front of the glass walls that frame the mountain environment like a large painting. The lodge is located near Storhogna M where there is a restaurant, ski rental, self-service grocery store and bowling. 2 km away is the mountain hotel with spa and more restaurants.

The cabin, which was newly built in December 2023, has a top location close to slopes & ski trails. It is about 200 meters to the lift area and 50 meters to the cross-country trails. You can ski home to the cabin & walk or cross-country ski there. The lift card includes Vemdalen, Björnrike & Storhogna & a ticket to Skistar's buses between the different locations is included. Hotel Klövsjöfjäll with restaurant, ski rental and spa is close to the cabin. About 2.5 km away, there is an Ica store and a popular stone oven bakery.

Within walking distance, you will also find the tramway that offers 60 km of cross-country tracks. In summer you have nature right outside with lots of lovely hiking and biking trails! 5 min walking distance to grocery store, restaurant, bowling and ski shop at Storhogna M. 15 min walking distance to Storhogna mountain hotel with luxury spa and two restaurants.

Klövsjö is named "Sweden's most beautiful village" and the historic ski resort "Skidåkarnas ski resort". With the same lift pass, access to Vemdalen's 4 ski areas with 35 lifts and 58 slopes. The cottage is located on a quiet street without a thoroughfare from where you reach the ski area with sports shops and restaurants but also a swimming lake with clear water and jetties.

Welcome to this newly built mountain cabin near downhill ski slopes, cross-country trails and hiking. It is possible to walk or ski to and from the slope when there is snow in the terrain. You will find the Storhogna trail center right nearby. Storhogna is well known for its cross-country skiing opportunities. Snowmobile trails are also nearby. Summer, autumn and spring, when the ski slope is closed, there are magnificent nature experiences and lots of activities nearby.
