The kitchen and the wine cellar are located in the basement area and are not heated.

The garden is open, green and enjoyable, great as a starting point for a nearby walking trails and as relaxation endpoint after hikes.

There’s also a barbecue, outdoor seating, and space to relax in nature. Please note there is no Wi-Fi, so it's a perfect digital detox getaway.

Castle farm

The castle farm is one of the few houses in Kočevje with a barn on the ground floor. Such a way of coexistence of people and animals under the same roof was once widespread in this area. Animals graze on the meadows around the house from April to October. The main activity of the farm is beekeeping and fruit growing. In the immediate vicinity there is also an apiary intended for tastings, apitherapy and observation of bees.
