It is surrounded by four white-walled storehouses built in the Edo period and four gardens. It has been gradually renovated and revitalized (currently in the process of revitalization), including the white plaster walls and natural Kenji-ji bamboo fences.Originally an old house opened as an almost 100% inbound accommodation.We are conducting a semi open-air bath in the interior of the warehouse and renovation work centered around the water. ■ Soothing moss garden ■ There are three moss gardens: the front garden, the middle garden, and the back garden. Well water flows everywhere, including through the water fountains, the ladles, the deer scarecrows, the stream between the stepping stones, and the pond. The zelkova longhouse has been around for about 200 years and is also listed in the Oshu City Museum. The main house had seasonal flowers painted on the waist panel of the barrier, and the sliding doors had people, high-level calligraphy, and handwritten notes showing interaction with the nearby village headman. Kondaya's garden has a 300-year-old oak tree, camellias, silver trees, and pines, and a spring flows from the corner of the garden all year round. Trees that change their appearance with the seasons, mossy garden stones, and soothing water. Yatsuka, the third generation head of the Konda family, who was also active as a singer, would have sung while looking at this beautiful scenery.
