Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Kodaikanal

Lalitha and Ganesh were exceptionally helpful during my stay. Since I was carrying my diabetes medication, I needed refrigeration. While Homely doesn’t have a fridge—understandably, given Kodaikanal’s naturally cool weather—they went out of their way to assist. They even arranged with a neighbour to store my medication safely. In a nutshell, they were super helpful and truly went the extra mile to make me feel cared for.

It was great stay for us. This place is at best location and can enjoy the private view. Homestay experience was good. Exactly what described in airbnb. Care taker always responsive and ready to get anything essential things we neeed from market. Overall it felt like home and worth it.

Karuna farms is not just a stay, it is an experience. An experience so refreshing that you will carry it with you when you go back. It is a place to explore within itself with lot of things to cover - waterfall, pool, yoga, trekking and most importantly the rock. What is more important to cover at this place, is just sitting back and experience the nature around you, through out my stay I could hear birds chirping, stream flowing, leaves falling and all the other elements that connects you with nature. If you are looking for a place to escape from the urban set-up to something peaceful and refreshing, Karuna farms is the best place. Hrudayavasi is a villa type set up with in Karuna farms, it has some transcendental energy that let you connect with your soul. The portraits of Lord Krishna setup all over the place are so beautiful and you can just stare at them observing the details. Overall this is a great place for having a refreshing experience and getting closer to nature.

We were a bit skeptical at first since the place had no reviews. But taking a leap of faith, we reached this place and were mesmerised by the location, amenities and everything that had been mentioned. The place matched the description aptly and Ahmed was quite responsive throughout our stay. The only hiccup we faced was while using the projector in the bedroom. Apart from that, we loved the place and would want to come back again.

Rino was very responsive from beginning .. and he gave us a clear picture about the place. Also he toll took timely updates from us on the day of visit. Once we had reached kodaikanal, we had to cancel our booking because of a sudden death in family. We informed Rino on this and he was very co-operative and helped us to get the refund, which is not seen from a normal host. I highly recommend to visit Rino's place not only because of his hospitality but the home itself is very neatly setup and the lawn and surroundings are too good..

The Hill Breeze property is quiet and tranquil. incredibly roomy and cozy. decent internet access and a large, comfortable TV. with the required kitchenware and electrical equipment on hand. There are plenty of parking spaces available. Saravana answered all of my questions with accuracy and promptness. Rashmi, the caregiver, is a very amiable and cooperative individual. She also makes sure to provide food at a fair price. The homestay's interior is really cold. There are standard heaters available, but air-blasting heaters will be better and more recommended.

Words can’t describe how serene and beautiful the place is. Our caretaker, Mr Pandi sir was more than welcoming and the food was spectacular. Sam and Gobi were a brilliant addition as pets here. Sheba,our host, was extremely polite and gave us the proper instructions beforehand on what to do. The rooms are thoughtfully crafted and spacious. You will run out of places to sit. Definitely visiting again.

This cozy hilltop stay in Vattakanal was everything we hoped for—and more! The cottage is charming and well-kept, with a warm, homely vibe. The interiors are colorful, spacious, and filled with natural light. We especially loved the swings and comfortable sitting areas that made it perfect for relaxing or reading a book with mountain views. The highlight? The breathtaking sunrise views right from the property—absolutely magical! Waking up to misty hills with golden hues in the sky was pure bliss. The terrace is a perfect place to soak it all in. The fireplace made the chilly nights extra special, and the well-equipped kitchen was a nice bonus. All cafes and popular spots in Vattakanal are just a short walk away, which made exploring super convenient. Special mention to Danish, our host—very helpful, responsive, and made sure everything was smooth. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay , 15 min drive to city center

It was a pleasant stay. Nice view outside the room. And very peaceful.

A heartfelt Thanks to Vasinya for having us stay at her property. House exactly looked like the pics. very responsive and the caretaker was extremely good. Great place and a very pleasant location with less crowded. A must visit place. Will surely visit again. Overall it was Home away from Home.

This place has mesmerising view from balcony. All rooms and bathrooms are neat and tidy. My parents really enjoyed the stay. My kid loved the place. Luckily we spotted a group of bison . The only cons , it is difficult to reach the location as road to the property is very steep, but once you reach the place you will forget that. The experience we had is more than what we paid. It’s totally worth for every penny you spent. Arul was really helpful and responsive

The stay was pleasant and room was located in calm place. The road to reach this stay was adventurous as it was too steep. View from terrance was good. We stayed in 101 and 201, the price was worth.

The place was clean, great view of the valley and exactly as shown in the pictures. The host was great and helped us proactively.
