Holiday rentals with beach access in Kohimarama

This is an absolutely charming apartment to stay in and we enjoyed it immensely. Lynne is the perfect host - warm and welcoming but also attentive to our needs. There was a selection of goodies when we arrived and she baked the most amazing fresh muffins for us the following morning. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated with an inspiring collection of furniture and framed photographs. There is also a bookcase with a discerning and eclectic collection of books if you’re interested in reading- which I was. The real highlight of the apartment is the view. There is wide, expansive view of Auckland’s harbour and you are not overlooked by any of the neighbouring houses. Sitting there on the super comfy couch, with a cup of tea while looking out on the water is simply bliss. Overall, this a marvellous place to stay and simply on a higher level to many other similar apartments. We highly recommend it and will certainly come back.

Really enjoyed staying here! The place was super clean and spacious and within walking distance to a lot of nice restaurants and town area! It was pretty private despite being so close to a lot of restaurants and nice coffee places. Although it was a bit difficult to find the keys and get access to the car park at first, Simon gave ample instructions to check into the apartment. Will stay here again when I come back to Auckland!

We had a lovely stay at Pam & Greg’s place. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the place comfy & well equipped for an easy & enjoyable stay. Pam also supplied a portacot, high chair, baby bath, toys, books etc… for our 15month old, which we really appreciated and meant we could travel lighter. The location is excellent - close to Auckland city but away from the busyness and with a lovely marina outlook. Good amenities in Milford shops & Takapuna a short drive away. The apartment was super comfy & the outlook to Pam & Greg’s garden is stunning. 10/10 would recommend & stay again.

Great location, quiet street 5 minutes stroll to Jervois Road

We had friends around the corner in Torbay. Browns Bay is bigger and only a short (steep) walk down. The Bark and Brew was our fave coffee place. I swam the bay every day. Safe beech. Spacious accommodation with a proper lounge and separate bedroom. Great bed. I think the telly is Sky but we never turned it on! Good wifi. Loads of stuff in the kitchen. It’s all just great!

We had a fantastic stay at The Black Pearl. We loved the sea views, comfy beds and location. The house was easy to find and reach by taxi or bus, the local bowls club was great for a feed and a few drinks, and the French bakery down the road was perfect for a light breakfast before heading out for the day. It was great to have the fireplace for the chilly nights/mornings, and Kurt and Sacha were quick to respond to our messages. Overall an amazing stay and great value for money.

We had a wonderful stay at Lee's place. It was a lovely house, was very clean and had lots of space for all of us. The area was peaceful, safe and had wonderful views of the ocean. Lee and Joe were wonderful hosts. We appreciated their quick responses and helpful recommendations.

We just had the most wonderful girls weekend at this house on Waiheke Island. The hosts were friendly and clear with communication, the house was exactly as it was described - beautiful and clean with a magnificent view. It was just serenity. I would thoroughly recommend anyone to go.

Our group of two families really enjoyed our stay at Grace’s place. There was more than enough space for the 8 of us and the views were amazing. We had one small issue with the gas but Grace gave helpful instructions and came to double check and sorted things out for us. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Stayed here while working on Waiheke in winter. Very comfortable, warm and spacious with everything needed. Extremely comfortable firm king size bed in the master bedroom. Good parking on a platform above the house on the roadside with a short flight of stairs down to the house. Nice outlook into the Onetangi Forest reserve. Very happy with our stay - Will definitely stay again.

A place that captured your heart and would stick in your memories for as long as you live. Everyone in my family including my elderly mom in-law loved the place so much till we were reluctant to leave. The house was very clean and furnitures were well maintained. The view from the house was just stunning! Suyun was very accommodating and responded promptly whenever I had things to enquire. Thank you so much for your hospitality and a great place to stay!

What a gem. This is by far the best AirBnB experience we have had. It is like staying in a five star hotel but in a secluded, beautiful part of the world. The house is stunning and the location is amazing. Our first day had a bit of rain and it was so nice being able to relax in the incredible space that Nikau Estate provides. The rest of the stay had perfect weather and we made use of the pool and outdoor areas. The communication was terrific and the whole experience was 5 star. We had our 2 kids and their spouses and a newborn. The house was perfect and we had bedrooms to spare. We stay in alot of top hotels and we had honestly burnt out a bit on holiday rentals due mainly to overly "optimistic" photos, and onerous departure/cleaning requirements. Well not so with Nikau Estates. Very simple cleanup for the kitchen and an incredibly high standard of property. We will definitely be back and we thoroughly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with spacious lounge and deck area. Walking distance to nice coffee spots and close to the park entrance. Limited kitchen cooking inside but bbq was perfect. Very responsive host and good value for money :)

Thanks so much for a great stay! The lady on site was so lovely and welcoming and accommodating. The best location with everything you could need or want at arms reach! My little dog loved zooming around the yard and surrounding parks/beach. Can’t wait to come back!

Great little hideaway in a lovely suburb. Cute little flat tucked st rhe end of a long driveway. Easy parking. Super quiet and safe neighbourhood. Felt right at home. Host was very friendly and easy to deal with.

We really enjoyed our stay at Irene’s. It was great to be so close to the beach and there were lots of shops and cafes within walking distance. It’s a scenic 20 minute drive to Snow Planet is that is part of your holiday plans. The apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay a pleasure. Irene was so friendly, helpful and caring. We would definitely stay again.

Pia’s place is incredible! Had a wonderful 10 days there. We really enjoyed the location on the beach, all the amenities in the hime and the beautiful sunrise views from the wall of windows. One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. Pia was amazing to work with - very responsive and attentive. Could not have asked for a better stay in New Zealand!

It’s just very unique to be in a very private building right in the middle of a fantastic beach town on what is probably the best urban beach in New Zealand. You will love it!
