This 2 bedroomed private apartment is on the beach - there is some local vegetation in front of you that provides some privacy. This is a light and airy space - The Living room and bedroom sliding doors open onto the garden overlooking the ocean. A garden gate leads you to the beach and our well known local surfspot Point. The space is perfect for adventurous, outdoorsy people who love the beach and enjoys surfing and the ocean. It is very peaceful with the constant sound of the waves around u.

The Beach House

The Beach House is a small, but beautifully proportioned residence which sits in an enviable location, just metres from the golden sands of Jeffrey’s Bay. Be woken in the morning with the sunlight flooding in, have breakfast on the deck watching dancing dolphins, spend the day surfing or exploring and end the day watching the sky turn scarlet in front of the fire pit. Please also see 127 da Gama if you want to rent the whole property. Please note it is a Japanese style bed and relatively hard.

The first time we walked up the stairs and saw Jeffrey's Bay stretching in front of us, our hearts sang. After ten years of dreaming and two years of planning we finally created a modern beach front house by the surf. 127 de Gamma is built with a European style but an African heart. Whilst the bedrooms are downstairs, the open plan upstairs is all about the view. 2 guests may also stay in the unattached annex at the bottom of the garden. They have a totally separate area.

It is situated on the Loerie River in the picturesque Gamtoos Vallei, only 22km from Jeffreys Bay. It is perfectly situated to explore the Baviaanskloof, the Addo National park and the incredibly beauty of the unspoilt Eastern Cape coastline.

Big bright flatlet on the canals amongst the trees

A large bright upstairs room above a double garage with a private balcony. The room looks out over trees and the garden. Private, equipped, self-catering with a small kitchen area. It’s a short walk to the Krom river. Guests have access to the garden, jetty and canal. There is a canoe to use. We live in the main house a few metres away.
