Holiday rentals in Kouvalata

We had a fantastic 2-week stay at Nikolaos and Mela's home. Set in a peaceful part of the island, it has truly amazing views of the countryside, the gulf of Argostoli and Lixouri. The house is very well equipped, large and comfortable with 3 decent size bedrooms and a large living room. It also has a very big terrace complete with a daybed for afternoon naps, away from the heat. We felt right at home and didn't miss anything. Located in the quiet village of Agia Thekli, with a small village shop for essentials, it’s 15 mins by car from Lixouri, a seaside town with supermarkets, restaurants, shops and regular ferries to the capital Argostoli (20-min boat trip). It's also well placed to visit the eastern part of the island, Petani and Myrtos beaches and Asos and Fiscardo villages. Nikolaos and his family were charming and very welcoming. We were offered home grown tomatoes and peppers and gifted a bottle of local Greek wine. We highly recommend and hope to visit Kefalonia again soon!

The most amazing place to stay in Kefalonia! The apartment is huge, clean and has everything that you need. It’s a very private and quiet place to stay with a big balcony overlooking the water. Eleanna is amazing, she gave us great recommendations on beaches, activities, things to see and places to eat. She even allowed us to check out late as we had a late night flight. I would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Kefalonia.

Το σπίτι ήταν εξαιρετικό με άνετους χώρους , εξοπλισμένο μέχρι την παραμικρή λεπτομέρεια, δροσερό , με ιδιωτικό πάρκινγκ σε ήσυχη γειτονιά και αρκετά κοντά στο Ληξούρι. Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα και θα θελα να ξαναμείνω εάν μου δοθεί η ευκαιρία.

Zoe’s Suite is perfect for a couple! It has everything you would need - fully equipped kitchen, secure parking, aircon, king size bed, luxurious shower room - and we had a very comfortable stay. Above all else, it has the most stunning sea views that we enjoyed looking out at all throughout the day, from the moment we woke up in bed to when we had our meals outside. The villa is situated in a great location, just a 10 minute drive from large supermarkets, the main town of Argostoli, and most importantly one of the best sandy beaches in Kefalonia (Makris Gialos)! The village of Lakithra is peaceful and quaint, with a few restaurants, a bar and a delicious pastry shop (Antonis) down the road that you have to try for traditional delicious pastries/cakes. All interactions with Clayde, Panagis and Nancy from HostingMe were great - prompt, friendly, accommodating! We really can’t recommend Zoe’s Suite enough, you’ll love your stay!

Dear Fanis, Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! We had a great time. Everything was perfectly arranged, and we felt very welcome right away. You were very friendly and gave clear instructions, which made everything super easy. We had a few drinks in the city while waiting and then got the great news that we could check in a bit earlier. We just forgot we still had to walk up a hill, and then climb four flights of stairs with our suitcases! But even so, we were warmly welcomed. The apartment was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, you can really see the care you’ve put into it. The only small downside for us was the lack of blackout curtains, as the room got quite bright early in the morning. But aside from that, everything was absolutely perfect! Also worth mentioning is the building manager, such a kind and attentive man, who greeted us with a smile every day. It really added a nice personal touch to our stay. Beautiful rental with amazing decor, large rooms, balconies and patio. Great location with the best view. The owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. They helped us with recommendations for touring and restaurants, as well as bookings. We were extremely grateful and impressed to find a welcoming fridge full of food for lunch and breakfast including wine and beer! We plan to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone.
