“It's a value for money stay - if you are a budget traveler and especially a couple (one double bed and one sofa-bed) this place is a very good choice with very kind and responsive hosts. It includes a parking spot which is essential in Athens if you travel by car . The apartment has all the basic equipment and the only thing that we missed was a microwave. I recommend the place and i would for sure consider coming back.”
A 5 min. walk from the Archeological Museum and 30 from Acropolis in one of the most artistic and interesting neighborhoods, this 25m2 flat with its private balcony and all the amenities of a contemporary flat, can be your dreamplace. Its garden makes one easily forget that my place is situated at the very center of a vibrant city, seeming more like like a hidden paradise. Not exactly a house, but rather a home for your stay. :)
“We loved the Romano’s place. It is charming studio in the middle of lush plants. Romano and his parents welcome us with great hospitality and serve us homemade wine, pies and olive oil from their own olive trees. There are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. Farmer’s markets in the street below on Saturdays was a nice suprice. You can get there fresh vegetables, fruits, fish, eggs and other high quality fresh stuff straight from producers.”
Luxurious Design, Acropolis Breathtaking view, Central Location!
“100% the reason to use Air B and B. It allows you to stay in unique apartments in the middle of great locations. We are very much into architecture so this unit was pretty cool to hang out in. We were located right in Psyrri and used Rick Steve’s walking tour to explore. This location was close to everything including the central market and great shopping. For me it was great to be close to several vegan restaurants. Just like the photos show, your view of the Acropolis is amazing at all hours of the day. The unit is very secure with a very robust metal door. Some tips: it can get pretty dark and the flooring is dark and has a step. So if you have a tendency to walk about at night (like to pee), use the extremely versatile lighting system to create some subtle night lighting. It’s a hip neighborhood and you can hear some laughing and chatting at the cafes late at night. It’s not particularly annoying at all (and I can get pretty easily bothered by that kind of thing) but if you are really sensitive to that then have some earplugs at the bedside.”
