Made was great and helpful. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this villa surrounded with towering trees and an abundance of greenery, the peaceful ambience make it perfect for relaxation. However, there are a couple of downsides to consider. The food options are limited, and visitors need to order from a nearby warung, which serves average food. One thing to keep in mind is the presence of mosquitoes in the area. It's highly recommended to bring your own mosquito repellent to ensure a comfortable stay. From the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special. Tucked away in a quiet, peaceful setting, it offered the perfect escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

What can you say about this place?? An absolute delight!! We were lucky enough to have 5 nights and it was a real highlight for us and a beautiful place to make memories. The house itself is quite remarkable. The detail and natural flow make it so serene and calming to be in and you can tell it was built with care and love. Nyoman was kind enough to send pictures of the build and explained how they used only local trades to do the work which was important to them, and as a result you can feel the community within. Some people may not be fussed either way but for us it really added to experience. It’s: situated a perfect 5min drive out of Ubud and the village was the perfect antidote to the hectic pace of town. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance and everything you need if you want to stay local. Nyoman was so generous and kind with our kids and genuinely wanted us to experience his community which was awesome. A beautiful man! Hopefully we’re back soon. Thank you!?

我们同行三人都非常喜欢这套别墅，花园风景很好，床铺柔软且每天有专人负责整理，两个房间内空调性能都很好，夜晚很舒适。 房东为我们准备了驱蚊水，即使有蚊虫也可以缓解。 周边有一些餐厅和按摩店，比较便利。 时不时可能会有小猫到访，我们都很爱见到她🥰只不过有时她可能会有点暴躁🥲大家要小心观察她的情绪，以免打扰到她。 房东很有耐心也很热心，为我们提供了非常好的住房体验。

This villa was perfect for our stay in Ubud! Peaceful and quiet but still close to the action. The private pool was a godsend on hot Ubud days. Kadek was a really helpful, friendly host: he arranged early check-in for us, transported our suitcase to the villa and sorted a scooter rental for our stay. He also provided super useful extras like plenty of insect repellant and emergency phone numbers. The villa is just off a strip of restaurants, so food is never far away, and it’s only a half an hour walk to central Ubud. We’d happily recommend this place to any couple!

We hada wonderful time at Ardia's place. Although the road leading to the place is a little bit challenging, we were rewarded with a beautiful place to stay. Bu Yoni and Pak Putu kindly waited for us to check in. When we arrived, Pak Putu was ready with the campfire to grill the chicken for dinner, our children were really excited for that. We were then treated with the glorious sky full of stars. The house is simply cozy and we had a good sleep. In the morning we went for trekking with our children and ended up checking out later than 2pm and Ardia kindly accomodated us. If you are looking at this place, I would highly recommend you give it a try and I am very sure you will fall in love with this place. A great place for gatheringwith friends and family. Widi ist jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns über Nacht noch einen schnelleren Roller organisiert, weil in der Unterkunft keiner mehr vorhanden war. Wir konnten also pünktlich nach dem leckeren Frühstück um halb 9 los. Alles in allem ist das eine top Unterkunft, die wir mit bestem Gewissen jedem weiter empfehlen würden. Sollten wir nochmal nach Bali reisen und eine relativ zentrale, aber dennoch ruhige Unterkunft suchen, dann werden wir zweifelsohne wieder diese wählen. Man ist in ca. 10 Minuten mit dem Roller in Ubud. Von dem immensen Verkehr in Ubud bekommt man in der Unterkunft gar nichts mit. Wir haben über Nacht immer die Vorhänge offen gelassen, sodass wir morgens beim wach werden einen unfassbar schönen Blick auf den Dschungel hatten. Das Moskitonetz war sehr groß und hat das komplette Bett umfasst. Wir haben daher imrichtig gut geschlafen. Für uns war auch die Matratze sehr bequem. Also vielen Dank Widi für die unvergessliche Zeit.

Unforgettable Birthday & Honeymoon Stay – Incredible Hospitality We stayed at this villa in Bali for my birthday and our honeymoon, and it was truly the most unforgettable experience. Dewa, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Anything my fiancé and I needed was taken care of with care and attention to detail. The on-site staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They gave us a relaxing spa treatment right at the villa and even cooked a special homemade Balinese dinner for my birthday—it was such a thoughtful and memorable surprise. Dewa also arranged all of our tourist excursions, making it so easy to explore Bali without stress. Everything felt smooth, personal, and effortless. If you’re looking for a beautiful, peaceful stay with world-class hospitality, this is it. We can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Dewa, for all you did for me and my wife!

As so many have said before, this is a magical, enchanted place that offers an unforgettable experience to nature lovers and/or people who are sensitive to the special energy of Bali. The premises are vast and unique with an unusual temple complex right in the middle. The views from the cabin and the common area (bale structure for eating) are breathtaking. Each evening, just before sundown, we heard the village priest's chanting and gamelan orchestra, including a flute that sounded like it came from another world, travelling over from across the valley. If you're into this kind of thing, go next door, down to the river, for a special guided water purification ritual (melukat). Yes, communication was sometimes a bit tricky, but the staff are all so friendly and helpful, things always worked out. The place was squeaky clean, considering it's in the middle of the jungle. Food was thoughtfully cooked and pesented. We loved our time in Sangeh, suksma to everyone!

Our family didn’t understand that there were two beautiful houses. Once our youngest refused to sleep Seperate from us the staff came to the house and set up an extra bed in the master bedroom. Thank you so much for helping is solve this. The house was the most beautiful we stayed in in Bali so far. Peaceful, we even stayed in for a full day to enjoy the pool and location.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Sie war perfekt für Erholung. Es gab gratis Trinkwasser und ein sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben auch die Möglichkeit genutzt, über sie Abendessen zu bestellen. Das gesamte Team war sehr nett und half uns ebenfalls, den Weitertransport zu organisieren. Es muss einem nur klar sein, dass es weiter weg vom nächsten Ort ist und mitten in der Natur ist.

The room is clean and tidy. You can hear nature sounds from outside. The sunrise is beautiful as the window faces east. The staff are friendly and help with our luggage.

Sehr tolle Villa, sieht genau aus wie auf den Fotos. Ein atemberaubender Ausblick auf den Dschungel mit einem schönen Pool. Das Frühstück und Mittagessen war Mega lecker. Die Angestellten vor Ort waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit und haben uns auch Roller organisiert. Wir können die Villa nur empfehlen und waren sehr begeistert.

An unforgettable experience! I stayed two nights at Magic Hills Bali, and each night in a different villa to experience both — and wow, both were absolutely magical in their own unique way! Everything was beautifully designed and felt like a dream come true. The peaceful atmosphere, the attention to detail, and the nature all around make this place something special. The owner is such a kind and genuine person — very welcoming and made sure everything went smoothly. And the staff? Just amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. They made the whole stay even more enjoyable. I’m so happy I got to experience both villas — I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone coming to Bali. Thank you for the amazing memories!

Wir haben 3 Nächte im Bambushaus verbracht und waren sowohl vom Ausblick als auch von der Unterkunft selbst, schwer beeindruckt. Alles war wie beschrieben. Gede war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend und half uns sogar dabei, unseren Aufenthalt zu planen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war extrem gut. Wir konnten jederzeit Essen bestellen und haben sogar Wäsche waschen lassen können. Diese war innerhalb von 24 Stunden gewaschen und gebügelt wieder bei uns. Wir können Sandag Hill wirklich nur weiterempfehlen!

Great little secluded spot for a quiet few days in the jungle setting. Would recommend a short stay for sure. Beautiful little tree house with a relaxed vibe and the hosts made the most amazing breakfasts and couldn’t do any more to help.

To be honest the villa was so great we loved our stay so much and we could spend long long time inside chilling and cooking. The view was beautiful and the bedrooms were massive. They were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped too, a little bit shame that the fridge was stinking because of the veggies that were going bad inside. BUT one particular thing for everyone not to miss was the location. In the description it says that the turn is 180° and the host asked about “experienced driver”. There was no communication about the actual situation to go up there. It was not just small road, it was bumpy, steep, slippery and very sharp turn. The road had no space for mistakes, one wrong move and car would be off the cliff. Host could’ve communicated to offer a driver help 24 hours prior to arrival, they only asked about the type of car we have. There was no signal so we couldn’t call anyone, luckily there were people from construction to help us push the car up the hill.

A pleasure and a privilege to stay at Lake Batur cabin and be so exquisitely nurtured and cared for as a family by Putin and Kadek . Our family enjoyed many special and Sacred experiences in the Water Temple- early morning sunrise Mount Batur trekking- homeschooling and worldschooling opportunities aplenty . Learning about the richness of the Balinese mountain/ lakeside cultures was a highlight. Our trip of 3 nights and 4 days was perfect. We will be back - Lake Batur Cabin ticked ALL our boxes

This AirBnB is the oasis of Ubud. Edi and the staff we're all so attentive and lovely, there are immediate amenities, coffee shops and nice restaurants to check out, and you're not far from good walks, or visiting the town of Ubud itself. And did we mention the place itself is a palace? My partner, our daughter and I loved this listing, and will 100% stay here again if we're lucky enough!
