The cottage is rustic with an outdoor toilet and cold water/summer water in the kitchen. The cottage does not have a shower/bathtub. In summer, it is possible to rent a sauna at Leppäniemikajen on Seskarö, about 3 km from the cottage. Two nice beaches within 300 meters. Seskarö offers a grocery store. 28 km from Seskarö are the border towns of Haparanda and Tornio, which offer shopping and other activities.

The property has a sheltered and large yard that can accommodate even larger cars. There's a barbecue cabin in the yard. In winter, you can even see the northern lights. The center of Tornio and the Swedish border are about 6 km away, Kemi 24 km, Rovaniemi 119 km and Santa Claus' Pajakylä 127 km. I live with my family in the same yard. Rentoudu kauniin Kemijoen varrella sympaattisessa vuodelta 1811 hirsimökissä. Remontoitu nykyaikaisin mukavuuksin v.2021. Pihanavetassa uusi sauna/wc ja grillitupa sekä terassi . Toinen erikseen kesäaikaan vuokrattavissa oleva sauna on aivan rannalla, saunan yhteydessä on palju sekä 8h grillillä varustettu huvimaja . Saunan jälkeen pulahda hiekkarannalta Kemijoen raikkaaseen veteen. Suotuvene asukkaille. Liinavaatteet ja pyyhkeet kuuluvat hintaan. Maaseudun hiljaisuudessa sielu lepää!

Ternu Forestvilla

You can enjoy the nature and scenery to the river during your stay. While you are enjoying the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi, you might have chance to see the northern lights. This mini house can accommodate 4 people comfortably but we have beds even for 6. It has full kitchen and living room with windows facing river, sauna, shower, toilet and two bedrooms with big windows facing the forest. Outside it has two spacious terrace's, one with jacuzzi. The building has just been completed.

Cozy (44m2) studio with its own entrance, very small shower/toilet upstairs in our house, so note the pictures: stairs up! We have bed linen and towels included in the Airbnb price, basics in the kitchen. Short distance to the city center. Parking space in the yard.
