Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kuopio

The villa is just as it is in the pictures and as described in the presentation text, i.e. really wonderful. Everything was really neat and the decor was so beautiful, the fresh flowers were wonderful, also the fresh fruit and chocolate was a happy surprise. The kitchen equipment was really good and there was a choice of beautiful dishes, I was able to make beautiful table settings. The beds were comfortable to sleep in and had beautiful sheets. We enjoyed a wonderful beach sauna and a warm hot tub. The dog was also taken into account and had food/drink cups and a small towel. All instructions were clear and Petra responded quickly. I will definitely come back here.

The lingonberry is in a great location by the lake. For three families, passel spaces. Plus a big kitchen! Everyone could fit breakfast, and there were plenty of dishes and other cooking utensils. We can highly recommend.

Everything was perfect. The owner has been very friendly and helpfull and has always answered immediately. The house is very clean, has a high standard and everything is of good quality. The house is nicely decorated and was very cosy. The location is great and the lakeview is beautiful. A clear recommodation for a perfect, relaxing holiday.

Very beautiful and cozy house nearby the lake at the end of the road. The interior is very lovely arranged and furnished and the view across the lake from the master bedroom ist simply stunning. You can row with a boat from your private dock. There is no disturbing noise from roads, because it is located at the end of a tight road. The hosts are simply perfect, very kind, always there for you, when questions arise (in our case even at night-time). There are also plenty possibilities for activities in Kuopio and the nature surrounding the beautiful city. We can only recommend a stay in this house for everyone, kids will enjoy it as well.

Very good accommodation, bigger apartment than in the photos. The sauna in the basement was well-stocked with -25 degrees Celsius, and Matti warmed us up one day with a wood sauna. It's a shame it was too cold to visit the national park. Definitely will be back!

Clean, cozy, peaceful place. Great service in the sauna with the water ready. A wonderfully refreshing pond that was nice to take a dip in the heat. Hotel-level breakfast in the main house. I recommend driving a little aside is not a burden.

The place was very nice for the four of us to celebrate Midsummer for the feud at the festival. The place was clean and matched the photos. A 20-minute walk to the party festival wasn't a bad trip. Markku was also very nice and gave clear instructions on how to check in, as well as the final cleaning. I recommend staying! ❣️

The place is absolutely amazing and has earned more than 5 stars. We felt at home from the first second and it was really hard for us to leave. Timo is a great host and was available at any time. The lake house is tastefully and cozily furnished. The view, the landscape. Simply great! Even the journey to the house triggers peace and calm. The ski resort is a short 10-minute drive away. Pure recreation, winter sports and relaxation in one! We will definitely be back.

Everything went very comfortably and the cottage was comfortably spacious and well-equipped. We got an extra open to make an ice saw and a kaita, and we also got to use the lakeside sauna. Very good experience!

We had a really lovely stay here at Villa Karhu in the winter. We were a group of 6 friends and the house offered more than enough space for all of us. The location is absolutely amazing, with the surrounding nature being really peaceful and quiet. You have absolut privacy and won't disturb others or be disturbed by anyone, yet it is still easy to reach. Can recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a few relaxing days enjoying the beautiful nature!

The host exemplary took care of their guests. The level of equipment in the house was high and the facilities were of high quality. The host couple was very approachable and comfortable.

We had a great stay in the little cabin on the lake. It is really quiet, no direct neighbors. Communication was straightforward, friendly and helpful. The cottage is well equipped, we lacked nothing. What you might want to know is that the stairs to the sleeping area are really steep. All in all, you can spend a time here.

This was a wonderful getaway with little kids! Beautiful location of the house in a forest on lake shore The cleanest air, berries, mushrooms! Lots of room to play with the kids. The house itself is spacious, modern, comfortable and very clean! Thank you to the host of the house for their hospitality and extremely prompt assistance on any issue that arises!
