The Hitching Post - Escape to the Hawkesbury

PeterRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Hitching Post was the perfect space for us for the weekend. The large space was well equipped with everything we needed. Great being able to interact with all the animals. Food and treats stocked daily to share with the animals. We loved everything.

Great place with amazing view. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, as we were in winter and it was quite chill outside.

Bush Getaway - Tootie Creek House at Koala Gully

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It is very rare that I write a review for an Airbnb, but I can't go past the opportunity to rave about Mark & Kat's beautiful house. Their comms were fantastic (quick responses and always friendly and helpful) from booking to checkout. The house is unbelievabily beautiful and spacious (so much larger than in the pictures which is rare!). The space was modern and well furnished. The bathroom was immaculate and stocked better than most hotels. The kitchen was the most well equipped Airbnb kitchen I've ever been in. The indoor fireplace was so charming and made the entire experience magical. The beds were the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in (I woke up with no back pain which was amazing). I always bring my own pillowcase to Airbnb's but this time I didn't even bother using it - the sheets and duvet felt extrememly clean and I never wanted to leave (it was so warm and cozy!). On top of all this, Mark & Kat left some very cute and helpful notes for us and even treated us with cider!

Wildacres Luxury Lodge on 40 Acres, Blue Mountains

PeterRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This is a lovely and comfortable property, privately in the bush but not far from Blackheath. We enjoyed the pizza oven, hot tub, bushwalks on the property and the lounges and day beds which were perfect to snuggle up on while enjoying the warmth from the fires. We had a minor issue with the gas hose to the pizza oven but communication with the owners was very prompt and we sorted things out quickly and with no hassles. The house is quite a groovy design with passive features which were interesting to understand. And the instruction book for guests was comprehensive - their guide to local activities, attractions and eateries was lengthy and very helpful. We'd happily come back some time...

The Blackwood Cabin, Blue Mountains

AngelaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We've always loved visiting the Blue Mountains when in Sydney, but this stay in this little cabin made our stay in the mountains so much more perfect and magical this trip. We loved every single bit of the cabin - from how magical it was seeing the cabin for the first time when we opened the gate, to how peaceful the surroundings was, to how tastefully each corner of the cabin was designed (we spent a good half an hour just admiring each corner of the cabin when we first arrived) and to how welcomed we felt (Rosie left us some eggs freshly retrieved from the coop on the kitchentop when we first arrived). It was the perfect location too for us to drive out and explore the rest of the mountains and we always looked forward to returning to the cosy cabin after a day of adventures. What we really appreciated too was the personalised guide that was shared with us! We really had a very magical stay in the cabin and sincerely hope we will be able to return one day!
