This was such an incredible find - we were looking for a place to recuperate before flying out the next day and this house was perfect. Edna and Bosse were proactive with check-in and even swung by early in the evening to say hi and provide some fun information about the surrounds. The place itself was spacious, kitchen was well equipped and bathroom was clean and tidy. Would 100% stay here again if I was ever in the area!!

Really nice house, with a great view!

We had a lovely stay at Beatte & Håvard's cabin. They made us feel right at home including special touches like having a few toys for our 6 year old. The location was magical and our only regret is that we only booked for 4 nights instead of longer. Everything is set up to be cozy and peaceful. They had great recommendations for local hikes and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Definitely recommend!

Within ~1 year, this place got 20 five-star reviews. The only reason it hasn't crossed 50 is: Sortland is less popular than mainland Lofoten. The place is not only handled with, but also designed with utmost care. Originally built in 1934, every corner of it carries a meaning that not even an unwatchful guest can ignore. There is family heritage, and there is just the right amount of it. That's where the comfort begins. Living room is smaller than its photos. But with modern furniture & a smart TV, you never run out of indulgence. Kitchen & barbecue hut are well-equipped with utensils and tools for all types of cooking. Bedrooms are comfy, and just right for the cosy cuddles. The grassy, lush outside with a private beach is kept free of bugs by hosts. You can't get enough of the hot tub under starry/green sky! The best part is the proactive hosts who promply fulfill all unmet needs. The house, with all its warmth, keeps luring you. A tough fight against luscious Lofoten!

From the moment we booked, communication with Vigdis was seamless and warm, making us feel welcome even before we arrived. Vigdis is the most welcoming and kind host one could wish for. Check-in instructions were super clear, she always responded quickly and shared tips on things to do on the island. The house itself is an absolute gem - cozy, inviting, and beautifully decorated to create a true home-away-from-home feeling. Waking up to the stunning sea view, surrounded by Norway’s breathtaking nature, was an experience in itself. Whether enjoying a quiet morning coffee with the view or exploring the serene surroundings, every moment felt special. Alex is the perfect host! The house is fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful! We immediately felt comfortable and were able to leave everyday life behind us wonderfully. It's all so uncomplicated and relaxed! The communication was great and nothing was missing. Since Alex also offers excursions, he is the perfect choice for an unforgettable holiday on the Vesterålen. With his kindness, courteous and open manner, humor and stories about the country and people, he made the stay even more refined. Thank you for everything! Stay the way you are! We highly recommend booking this appartment. It is located in the small harbour of Kaljord, ferry only passes by few times per day and you can barely hear it. The availability of the ferry makes this the perfect place to visit Lofoten. The appartment is spacious and clean and provides all the comfort one could need.

Nice place to stay with everything you need

Awesome stay. Stayed for a short time, but was very clean and homey. All the necessary items were available, only needed to bring clothes and shop for groceries. Absolutely perfect. 👍👍

Very cozy apartment in a nice location close to the sea. Tidy and clean, so everything was tip-top. About 15/20 minute walk to the city center, so it's a nice little walk.

The house is very clean, the facilities are very new, the heating is very sufficient, the living room and kitchen are very large, although the view of the sea is blocked by a house at the door, but it does not affect the view when you step out. The location is ideal for friends who are driving.

Very nice house that fits perfectly when you are many on a trip. Nice bathrooms, large bedrooms and a living room/kitchen that can accommodate many. We lacked nothing during our stay and had good communication with our hosts. Recommended!
