Amazing cabin in an ideal location for Tromsø and other day trips. Bus stop near the house but would recommend having a car to get the most out of the trip. Everything you need for a trip to the arctic. Great communication from generous hosts, flexibility and easy contact. Lots of wildlife, lots of snow, very peaceful!

Beautiful place. You can find everything you need. The bedding is quality. The view of Tromsø is splendid. The host is available and responsive. The accommodation is well located, you can get to the city center in a few minutes by bus or car. And as a bonus, we had the chance to observe northern lights from the balcony. We recommend this place without hesitation!

We felt very comfortable in Vidar's big house. The view is a dream. The house is perfectly located to explore the north of the island. But you can just as easily relax on the terrace. A small supermarket and a gas station are not far away. We would like to come back and can recommend the house without reservation.

We used Tores place for the Race of The Midnight Sun marathon. It was slightly out of town which was perfect as it was busy and noisy in town until the early hours. Not too far to ‘hobble’ back to after the race 😆

We had an amazing stay and felt at home immediately! The house is very cozy, calm and I’ve never had an Airbnb that was as well equipped as this one, you really have everything you need.

I felt really welcome and was kindly received throughout the stay. The place was peaceful and the cottage was nice to stay in. It was wonderful to have some food in the fridge because the shops were closed when I arrived.

Magical moment. Stefan was very welcoming by allowing us to check in earlier. He was very good advice and lent us a great book on ski hikes around Tromso. Regarding the listing: It is easy to access, close to everything (shops & airport) and at the same time, very peaceful. The house is very well thought out and really functional! DIYers will be impressed by all of Stefan's tricks! We enjoyed the windows to the outside, the bed under the stars, and the wood burning stove. Thank you so much for the perfect stays!

Mihkkal's place is perfect for skitouring. Lot's of easily accessible mountains within 30 min drive. It has all the amenities even for a longer trip, Troms is only half an hour away. Mihkkal was very friendly and nice guy, thank you for a great holiday!

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

Quaint, quiet and beautiful!

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

Short walk to shops and restaurants (much better and shorter than it looks on the map) but still nice and private on waterfront. Cable car/cathedral bus stop not too far away. Amazing balconies and beautiful views (was snowing most of the time we were there but could still see faint glow of Northern Lights from the hot tub)! Great kitchen - plenty of plates/utensils/glasses/etc. Lots of dining space, couches, TVs, etc. Bedrooms a little small, but typical for Europe and beds were very comfy and warm. Our 4 year old loved the deep jacuzzi bath. Washer and dryer in the bathroom - which was amazing as it meant we could pack light and do laundry every few days. Appreciated the disposable slippers! Everything easy to find, really good instructions for everything (except maybe ovens but I'm sure if we had messaged Elisabet she would have helped immediately, we didn't really need to use them so didn't bother). Everything was super clean. Really enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely beautiful place. Much nicer than in the pictures! Large house with plenty of space and difficult bedrooms. Amazing view of the sea and nice jetty to swim and fish from. Here we will come back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Frank's beautiful house. Lots of space and a nice jacuzzi! Frank is a kind host, responded quickly if we had any questions. There is a busstop close to the house, the bus goes to Tromsø often. You can also take a taxi. To Tromsø center we paid NOK 1000 (one way)
