Cottage in Bjørnlia, Skaidi

Northern Lights? Fishing? Hunting? North Cape? This cabin is perfectly located for a peaceful stay in quiet and pleasant surroundings. Including Wi-Fi and bed linen/towels Running water in the cabin. Hot tub can be booked during summer. Distance from the cabin: Skaidi 10 min Alta/Hammerfest 1 hour North Cape 2 hours Central and good starting point if you want to explore West Finnmark. Parking: Summer: approx. 70 meters Winter: about 500 meters from the cabin. You have to walk about 500 meters. Good shoes, clothes and headlamp must be brought.

Cabin in the mountains

Great cabin only 20 min away from Alta. Here you have immediate proximity to nature in summer and winter. Ski and hiking trails right outside the door. From the road there is a slight uphill slope you have to walk approximately 800 meters along the tractor road. In winter, skis or snowshoes should be used. The cabin has 4-5 beds in 2 bedrooms. Access to hot water and shower, as well as electricity and heat pump. All equipment such as bed linen/towels are of course included in the price. We can assist with transportation from the airport if desired.

This is a luxurious outdoor experience in the raw and beautiful nature of Finnmark. You can enjoy the peaceful surroundings outside, or relax indoors in the living room while watching the Northern Lights through the large panoramic windows. For international guests, the easiest way to reach the property is by flying to Lakselv or Alta Airport and renting a car. You can park your car conveniently right in front of the entrance, and an EV charger is available for use at the cabin (NOK 100/ day).

In summer we recommend collecting river stones, chatting with locals, and checking out nearby archaeological sites. In winter Sarves ski hill is only five minutes away and our local waterfalls are frozen-spectacular. Whatever season, it’s nice to relax with a coffee in a well-appointed home. We call this “our cozy place,” and we hope you’ll make it yours, too!

Velkommen til hytta vår, som ligger i et rolig område ved en innsjø. Hytta har utsikt over innsjøen, og en kan oppleve nordlys og midnattssol fra stuevinduet. Området har varierte muligheter for hiking, friluftsliv og opplevelser hele året. Spør oss gjerne om tips :) OBS! Sovehemsen er delvis åpen, og egner seg ikke for små barn. Små barn kan bruke soverom, sovesofa i stua, eller en flyttbar gulvmadrass. Hytta har en varmtvannstank på 120 liter, det er varmtvann til 3 - 4 personer.

Wonderful location close to spectacular mountains and outdoor areas; sea and mountains, hikes, fishing lakes, hunting grounds, skiing, and snowmobile trails. Veranda with a fire pit, dining area and spa. Playhouse with a slide for the children, sled mat, and steering sled. Snow blower and lawnmower available when needed. In the outhouse, you'll find firewood. The cabin has running water, electricity and fiber optic internet.
