Le logement se trouve dans le hameau de "La Balme de Rencurel", idéalement situé à 15 minutes du centre de Villard-de-Lans et de Pont-en-Royans par la RD531 (qui longe les exceptionnelles gorges de la Bourne). Entièrement rénové, il est situé dans une ancienne bâtisse qui fait face à la montagne, un petit parc bordé par la rivière la Bourne se trouve au pied du logement.
