Kid-friendly holiday rentals in La Tour-de-Peilz

it's a place in good fantastic season. the vision of the lake every day is a living picture. Swim there without a wow crowd. 2 good restaurants. the famous nets of perch of the lake, with a view of a treat. small town where it's nice to stay. there are lots of beautiful discoveries around the France or Switzerland side.

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

Very appreciable short stay. I liked the presence of air conditioning with the high temperatures, it was cool in the rooms even in the mezzanine. The two beaches below the village are very uncrowded and the peaceful calm of the village is a stone's throw from Switzerland by bike.

We had a great time. The description of the accommodation and amenities is perfectly in line with reality. Beautiful views of Lake Geneva. The place is very nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxing stay. It feels like home. Jean Luc is a very friendly, caring and accommodating host. We recommend it 100%, you won't be disappointed.

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

We had a wonderful stay . Nelly and Heinz are very friendly and super nice hosts ❣️ We had everything we needed for a good stay. Spotlessly clean apartment with fully equipped kitchen , extra comfortable bed and peaceful surroundings with a beautiful view. It is located 800m high in a quiet area , yet it’s a short drive to the highway . They allowed flexible check-in and check-out , which was very good. We also got the Riviera card with lots of benefits. Highly recommended 📍

I stayed at Matthieu’s place for three nights while visiting my kid who’s studying in Switzerland. The view was absolutely stunning, and the interior felt like something out of the Ritz Carlton. Clearly, Christelle and Matthieu put a lot of care into every detail. The Wi-Fi was also super fast, which was a big plus. Both Christelle and Matthieu were warm and welcoming. We had some great conversations during my stay. The location is just a 5–7 minute walk from the train station. Unless you're traveling with more than two people, I’d recommend skipping the rental car and going with one or two Eurail business class pass instead. Thank you again, Christelle and Matthieu! Amazing place! No matter the surroundings or the house itself, all are the best. Especially the cleaness, my "cleaning freak" sister was satisfied. The "not so good" point is, the place is so nice that we stayed in a lot insteading of visiting other areas😂

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We enjoyed the stay very much and were able to experience a very pleasant weekend with our family. Apartment is very cozy, well maintained and clean. It even had a piano and a guitar. We were completely satisfied with everything. I'd love to come another time. Nicolas always tried to make sure we were doing well and could always ask questions when we needed something.

What an amazing place, complete with everything you could possibly need, and the best host, Bendrie - whose warm smile and friendly demeanor invites you to feel immediately at home. Mimi the cat also helped with that. The space was more than enough for 3 couples to share, buy we were only 3 in total so we enjoyed spreading out and soaking up the views from the balconies. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend the hike to Lac Taney as well, which is conveniently on your doorstep. Also, loved the drive up and down the mountain. A perfect experience for my sister and niece to experience Switzerland for the first time. Truly unforgettable.

Gislaine’s apartment is situated on a beautiful hilltop, surrounded by nature. We enjoyed seeing cows, sheep, and the stunning flora of the region, including trees, grass, and flowers. The apartment is conveniently located near charming towns along Lake Genève and the "Terrasses Viticoles de Lavaux," with breathtaking views.

I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s a gem with the most beautiful views in the middle of Lavaux. With so super friendly hosts, we felt right at home 🫶

We had a wonderful stay at Katya's place! Since it’s the house where she lives, it felt very cozy and like a real home. The location is excellent, just a couple of minutes from the train station, making it super easy to visit nearby cities like Montreux and Lausanne.
