Beautiful sunny spots to hide away with a book, over 200 acres of undulating land as well as some bush land, a swimming dam, an outdoor fire pit for the cooler months and an indoor fire place to snuggle up by in the evenings. We had a wonderful two-night stay at Bruce and Wendy’s beautiful mountain home with our friends. The location was stunning, and we were lucky enough to experience snowfall during our visit a truly magical moment! The house itself was cozy and welcoming, complete with a lovely fireplace that made our evenings warm and relaxing. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the area and were delighted to come across cows , kangaroos and other charming sights that added to the experience. A big thank you to Bruce and Wendy for their kindness and support, especially with helping us out with our vehicles. They checked in on us regularly and showed such genuine, honest hospitality that made us feel completely at home. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat. Thank you again, Bruce and Wendy!

I booked Rod’s place for a solo retreat for the winter solstice. It rocked so many boxes - amazing location, so quiet and peaceful. The tiny house is cosy inside and has everything you need. Didn’t realise he also has camping pitches nearby too - will definitely be back.

This place was pretty amazing. The cottage was perfect in every way and made us feel right at home. Emily has put a lot of little touches amongst the cottage that most places wouldn’t do. From the already lit fireplace when we arrived, to the assortment of cooking spices in the cupboard and everything in between, it was definitely worth the trip down. Highly Recommend 😃

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Melaleuca Cottage to the point where I even extended my stay because I simply did not want to leave. Words cannot express just how much I loved staying here and the gorgeous natural beauty surrounding such a perfect place, in the perfect location for a perfect, much needed get away. I was in absolute awe with how breathtakingly stunning and spectacular the views were and the fact those same views were complimented by the cosy warmth that Melaleuca Cottage provided was just an added bonus. Such fabulous hosts too, very helpful and friendly - an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend that you go and see the beauty for yourself, I promise that you will not be disappointed. I am already looking forward to returning to a place that felt like pure Heaven. Thank you for such a memorable stay :)

A delightful cosy cottage welcomed us, and the port decanter was a lovely touch after our Friday night drive from Sydney. Delightfully warm, the cottage was perfect for our family for a cool Southern Tablelands weekend. Lovely bed linen - yes linen - a comfortable lounge room and a large well stocked kitchen were all great. The surrounding properties were in the distance which gave a real sense of being in the country. All in all, a great home for our family weekend away.

This stay was incredible! I sincerely didn’t want to leave. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Made sure I had plenty of blankets and would be warm enough with the winter weather. Had everything stocked and even brought me milk for my tea. Offered firewood so I could do a fire pit if I wanted and gave me directions to walk over to the cafe. The little house was so cozy and had the most stunning views. I watched the kangaroos hopping along the track during sunset, fell asleep watching shooting stars and woke up with the sunrise. I brought my cat and she loved it too! I would easily stay again.
