Beachfront holiday rentals in Lagoa

This was our first trip to Portimão and it did. It was perfect! Despite our first few days of cloudy weather, this location was close to many shops, restaurants, and shuttles to excursions. The beach was close, grocery store, and pharmacy right around the corner. Quiet during the night for a restful sleep! We would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay at Sylvie's house, which is very well equipped and comfortable. Sylvie is super friendly and responds quickly to queries. We had our dog with us and loved the fact that we could access a lovely walk straight from the property which leads to the lighthouse and coastal path from where there are spectacular views. The only downside for us was that the nearest beach does not allow dogs even out of the main season. It is a little way out of the main area of Ferragudo but this was not a problem as there were plenty of parking opportunities. Only an 8 minute drive to 2 main supermarkets so easy to stock up with supplies. We would definitely come back again next time we are in the area.

I cannot say enough about our stay with Maria. Her residence was absolutely perfect and close to so many amazing experiences, and was extremely child-friendly as we were traveling with our two young girls. Beyond that, Maria was an excellent and extremely gracious host, even when we messed up our checkout time she was kind, responsive, and very helpful. We hope to return and would highly recommend.

Great week at Harald's. The views are amazing and the walks along the cliff were an added bonus. The apartment was extremely well equipped and the bed and sofa are really comfortable. Harald dealt with everything quickly and we were very happy with our stay. Thanks Harald & team.....

We felt very comfortable . Antonio was always easy to reach, even when we had a mishap, it was all easy. The beach in Benagil is ok but due to the many kayak tours it is a bit stressful there with a child. But there are so many great beaches in the area, so that was not a problem. Car is absolutely necessary

Aline & Miguel were excellent hosts and easy to communicate with before and during our trip! They have created a relaxing and beautiful space to enjoy time together with family. We especially enjoyed sitting under the olive trees for games and meals and gazing at the lighthouse/ocean from the lounge chairs. The space worked perfectly for our family of 5 adults. They provided a guide with local recommendations which was helpful. Able to walk to beaches though a bit hilly. Overall we loved staying in this area of the Algarve with access to scenic cliff trails and restaurants. We enjoyed Pashmina (Indian food down the street), Algeria Good Mood Food (Thai) & casual Earth in town for breakfast/lunch. If this Airbnb is available, book it! It’s amazing! The apartment is in a perfect location. It’s nice and quiet but also close to walk to restaurants. The restaurant next to the pool was awesome. So close to the beaches and the zoomarine park. Will definitely be going back!

We had a perfect stay at Geraldine’s place! The apartment is amazing with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The place was very clean and easy to access. There was more than enough parking available right next to the apartment. The pool area was extremely clean and quiet. All information for everything was provided. The Apartment was close to the supermarket and within walking distance to restaurant and the beach. Geraldine was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had and I would absolutely recommend staying here, and hopefully we will be back ☺️

We stayed here in the low season February/March and enjoyed the stay despite the very mixed weather. The apartment was super equipped. The bathroom door is stuck😅, but otherwise the apartment for 2 people is really spacious, modern and intact. The location is good as you can walk to a good Intermarché in 15 minutes, which has everything you need. And scenic, the corner is a dream: great coves, cliffs, viewpoints and hiking trails, all of which are not difficult. We even enjoyed walking to the next town (to the long sandy beach). The path is safe and doable in 30/40 minutes. Rodrigo was always quickly accessible, especially at the beginning because we had not found the apartment at first. As a German, it is sometimes difficult to find the Portuguese addresses. But a Google Maps link solved it-just requesting Rodrigo. 🙂 We can really recommend Rodrigo's apartment as a starting point for discovering the Algarve.

The house was beautiful and the surroundings were quit and private. Carla was easy to communicate with before the stay and Isabel was very helpful and quick to reply during the stay. All in all I have nothing to complain about:)

We were with 6 adults and 2 small children in Carlos' house for a week. Everything is very nicely furnished, especially the kitchen is very well equipped and nothing was missing. Communication with Carlos was extremely fast and friendly! Since we arrived in Faro earlier, we were even allowed to enter the house much earlier, which was really great and not a given! A few minor issues, such as squeaky/sticky doors or unstable dressers, should possibly be replaced in the future, but otherwise the house is really very nice and perfect for 8 people! There are many beaches, restaurants, etc. We would come back within walking distance. :-)

This has to be one of the best Airbnb apartments we have stayed in. It has everything you need and more. Tina does a wonderful job keeping the place spotlessly clean. The parking garage is a bonus. Don’t hesitate to book this place. Armacao de Pera is a very relaxed location to base yourself to explore the Algarve.

beautiful location, right at end of the 7 hanging valley hike. it was too bad the pool was closed. beautiful sunset. Loved our stay and access to the beach.

catia's place was perfect for a stay near the beach for our family of four. the location was walkable to two beaches and plenty of restaurants and cafes. a full grocery store was a 5 min drive. we had all of the kitchen appliances needed for basic breakfasts.

Excellent location and loved Carvoeiro and airbnb!! Best restaurant for dinner in Carvoeiro is Touriga Wine and Dine for sure. Don't need a rental since tons of Uber drivers and can easily get one last minute for a lot less than most European countries. Spent 3 days in Carvoeiro, 1 day Ferragudo, 1 day Alvor, 1 day Silves, 1 day Monchique, 1 day Lisbon, 1 day old town Faro. Planned Sintra but didn't have time. To get to Lisbon take Uber to Tunes and catch 2 hour fast train to Lisbon.

The photos do not do this place justice. The place is massive! 2 choices of pools, beach towels are provided as well as bathroom towels.

A week-long stay in this little corner of heaven with our two-year-old daughter. Everything was made available for her, very good communication with Hugo. The accommodation is conveniently located for visiting the Algarve and enjoying the sun and beaches. We will not hesitate to come back because it was difficult to leave it.

Lovely house for a temporary "home". It doesn't feel like a vacation home but like a ‘vacation home’. Spacious, with all comforts and a great view. A lot of attention to detail.
