Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lagos

We absolutely loved this place. It was so comfortable, had everything we needed, easy access to everything including the beach. The house has so many areas to lounge, read and enjoy your holiday.

Our stay was perfect — in every sense of the word. Just a short walk from Praia da Luz and only minutes from Lagos, the most beautiful town in the Algarve with its breathtaking coastline. The house itself was absolutely flawless and exactly as described. The only thing that deviated from our expectations was the sea view — even better than the photos could ever capture. The view over Praia da Luz is simply stunning, one you could never get tired of. Before arriving, I wondered how a place on AirBnB could have a rating above 4.9 — now I understand. Aside from the fantastic house, I especially want to thank José for his warm and very, very welcoming hospitality. We were also genuinely touched by Manuel and his wife, who would stop for a friendly chat whenever we saw them. Such incredibly heart-warming and lovely people — truly remarkable. If we ever return to the Algarve, one thing is absolutely certain: we’ll be coming back here!

The room is clean and tidy, the courtyard is very comfortable, and you can park in front of the house.The host is very nice.

First time to the Luz area, which was made even better with our stay at this wonderful home. The house was great with large living areas, an excellent outdoor space with a pool and a location that was private but also ideally situated for easy access to the beach and restaurants.

Marcella’s place is welcoming, cozy, comfortable, a great location and well thought out…very accommodating. Wonderful restaurants recommended by Marcella, a lovely walk to Figueira Beach. Quiet, beautiful and peaceful. I would love to return one day.

Beautiful little cottage in a quiet location with a beautiful pool, very clean, nicely furnished, when you came out of the house, a bouquet of scents hit you from the wonderfully landscaped garden with palm trees and beautiful flowers and cacti, no neighbor has a view of this gem.

I was blown away by Carlota's place - it was beautiful, unique, and so relaxing. I wish I could have stayed longer!!

We really enjoyed our stay - the apartment was beautiful and just as described, and Carmo was a very friendly and responsive host!! Would definitely recommend!!

Anja and Paul's home was fantastic! Everything was immaculate! Paul waited for us and showed pointed to where the stores were, everything was within walking distance and a very comfortable walk. What a fantastic apartment! Truly a home from home! Eva and Michael are just lovely and are fabulous hosts. The outdoor barbecue was just brilliant- go to the fish market and grill some blue fin tuna - just lovely! Thank you !

Pedro and Inês were amazing hosts. Pedro did not hesitate to help anytime we had a question, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Having someone you can trust in a new city is very comforting. The location is quiet, and truly walkable to the main squares, markets and beaches. Although there is no air conditioning in the unit, we found it very manageable with the fan and opening windows. The view on the balcony is absolutely gorgeous, just like you see in the photos. The whole unit was also very clean. We are very thankful for all they did for us to make our honeymoon the best it could be!!

The place was like a home away from home. All of the extras that are available especially for kids made it a perfect place for a family to stay. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and the atmosphere of the apartment was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend the place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This apartment was in a great location with easy access to the ocean and many walking paths. The apartment was spacious and bright with a lovely new kitchen. It was made brighter by great artwork on the walls. the balcony gave a full day of sun. it was a short walk to the marina with lots of restaurants and then a quick walk over the bridge to the center of beautiful old town and more wonderful restaurants. the apartment was in a very quiet location in a quiet building.

If I wrote a review as glowing as we feel about the stay a Victor's apartment you would probably think I was getting paid. We were there for two months and let me tell you it was fantastic. The pictures are accurate; it is a roomy, fully equipped, and well kept abode. It's close to the beach in a very walkable area. We worked with Victor's host for the property, Joana. She was always responsive, friendly, competent, helpful, and thoughtful. For instance, in April 2025 when the power blackout occurred across mainland Portugal and Spain, Joana contacted us immediately to check on our wellbeing and to see if we needed anything.

Very cosy cottage like feel, we had a great 4 night stay. 2 adults + baby. Plenty of room upstairs. Outdoor space was great, beautiful views across the hills and very peaceful street so no noise while we were there. Nearby campsite is a 5-10 mins walk from the house, handy for using the restaurant/shop there or takeaway pizzas :) Easy access to local beaches and bigger towns (like Lagos) by car. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby too. Everything you need in the house if you want to make lunch, dinner, etc. Recommend!

This was a great place to stay in Lagos. The villa was exactly as described on the listing and matched the photos. It was located in a nice quiet area and walkable to the center of town. The pool was a great temperature and we enjoyed it every day of our stay. There was someone to meet us upon our arrival to make check in as easy as possible and explain the property. We had a great time in Lagos!

We stayed for 2 weeks with a 6 month old and 2 year old. Perfect house for us. Loads of kids toys and equipment, including potty, plastic plates, cups and cutlery, blender, etc. The pool was lovely. House was super clean and had loads of space. Host very responsive to any questions we had. 15/20 min walk to old town where there are loads of nice restaurants. Few nice places nearby too. Close to a big supermarket. We mostly drove to the beach but it is walkable. Had everything we needed and it’s a lovely house, would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay! property was in great condition, and was a great base for our group of 8. All the bedrooms were an even size and the open plan space downstairs was fantastic. lovely garden and pool. BBQ also extremely clean which is not always the case and all appliances were easy to use. check in and check out were easy and the host was always contactable.

Really enjoyed our stay in Lagos. Walkable to the lighthouse and several incredible beaches as well as town. Ubers are also very cheap. We also walked to Cascades Weklness for spa one day! All around fantastic.

Had a wonderful 8 days at the villa. Cristina has been a wonderful host, helping us with any queries re the villa and surrounding area. The villa is fabulous, with amazing views of the beach and sea, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful pool area. It’s a 40min walk into Lagos harbour area, approx. And a 10min car drive. All the rooms were clean and minimalist which was perfect. It would have been nice to have had a shower holder/mount in our room (double that looks over the pool) as we had to use the showers in our friends rooms. The kitchen was fab and filled with all the utensils and equipment we needed. Living areas and balconies were comfortable and relaxing. Loved the neutral decor throughout. Would be more than happy to come back for a future stay. Thank you! ☺️

We stayed at this property for three nights with my children and parents, and it was perfection. Everything was brand new and top quality. You could tell there was a lot of attention to detail when designing / refurbishing the space. Stefanie was super-responsive and it was a breeze getting in and checking-out. We hope to stay there again when it warms up so we can use the breathtaking pool area. 10/10.

We had a top wine at Tiny Whale Lodge! We celebrated our 40th birthday here with 14 friends and had a wonderful time! The house offers several nice corners (2 fire pits, poolside relaxation area, jacuzzi, sauna,...) so that everyone can find their place. Chef Pablo came to cook for us 1 night, was very tasty! Please note: we had more than half left, so don't plan on your last night! We did a beautiful walk at the cliffs in Lagos, with a long stop and dinner at beach bar Antonio. The last evening we ate BEAUTIFULLY at restaurant Dos Artistas, highly recommended!!! Berthe and Neil were always easily accessible and went out of their way to make us comfortable! (Even during the huge power failure)
