"The Lair" is a just recently renovated small 200 square foot cabin with vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. The building is located close to Green Tree Coffee and Tea, a coffee roaster, so the aroma of coffee will be in the air. We located about 400 yards South of the Islesboro Ferry and Lincolnville Beach and 2.4 milres North of Camden Hills State Park and Mount Battie. Free coffee and tea everyday, all day! We are closed for Winter, will re-open Mid-April. Thank you.

Cheerful home in the village, close to the beach!

The location was perfect for exploring the area and we enjoyed walking into Camden. We self-catered for a lot of meals even though there were plenty of restaurants nearby. We loved the assortment of board games on-site. Carrie was extremely helpful when our plane was delayed. We would definitely recommend Carrie’s place.

We enjoyed our stay at Owen’s place. The house is lovely and features so many thoughtful touches. It offered a peaceful escape from the city and the proximity to downtown Camden was a plus. We would definitely consider coming back for another visit.

Camden, Maine, became even more special with our stay at this Airbnb, hosted by the fantastic Deedee. The location, just up the street from Laite Beach and close to the Curtis Lighthouse lookout, provided unmatched convenience for exploring stores and restaurants. The internet service was reliable, and the television setup was user-friendly, addressing a personal pet peeve. The cleaning fee was clearly worth it, as the property was impeccably clean, allowing us to walk around barefoot without a speck of dirt. The mismatch of dishes and kitchen tools, a common occurrence in Airbnb kitchens, didn't bother us here as everything needed for meals was readily available. In summary, our stay was delightful, and we would undoubtedly choose this Airbnb again. Deedee's exceptional hosting, combined with the property's cleanliness and convenient location, made it a standout choice for a memorable retreat in the heart of Camden, Maine.

We left Natalie's just in time to return to Asheville, NC for Helene. Camden and the Airbnb seem like wonderful dream now! We were very pleased with the house. It was warm and personal and full of charm. The kitchen was well supplied and spacious. The whole house was very clean and nicely decorated.We were within walking distance of downtown and restaurants and shops. Natalie was very responsive to our questions and generally helpful but not intrusive. there were clear instructions and suggestions for activities in the house. We would recommend this accommodation as one of the nicest Airbnbs we have rented.
