House holiday rentals in Lake Ariel

We stayed at Oak View during the first week of June 2025 and had a truly wonderful experience. The home is beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. We spent most days relaxing on the deck, enjoying the peaceful surroundings—and even sneaking in a few naps. It was the perfect escape for a restful weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

From the beginning of our journey to the conclusion of our journey Livia’s hospitality and thoughtfulness of her space we were very impressed. Squeaky clean, well stocked kitchen (just about everything you’d need) comfortable beds and clear instructions for the household are its selling points. This is our first experience with Livia’s property and it won’t be our last. We’re planning on another visit later this year because of this experience. The ratings are real people! You won’t be disappointed.

The home was absolutely beautiful and super relaxing. It was in every way it was described and did not disappoint. The community was beautiful and makes you feel safe. My sister and I had an amazing time. We had so many plans to do outdoor activities and it rained all weekend but this house was perfect for a much needed staying in weekend. Perfect home and perfect weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at this house. It was clean, spacious, very warm despite the cold, and had a terrific pool table and air hockey table. Our family relaxed and spent good time together.

Me and my 2 40 year old brothers just wanted a place to relax and have little privacy while still having activities to do if we wanted. House was nice we barely left the property! Fire pit was great, plenty of wood, got a fire going even after a day of rain fall. The wrap around balcony was fantastic. Plenty of bars/restaraunts with 15 minute drive. Places to rent boating equipment nearby. Clean, as advertised. Great bathrooms, water pressure and cleanliness. Well stocked kitchen for appliances. Most importantly had a fantastic time just hanging around drinking beers and enjoying the scenery. Truly, truly wonderful little get away spot.

Place was absolutely beautiful! Plenty of room and Plenty of space for us to relax. Edwin was very responsive which made our trip go by so smoothly!

I stayed here with 6 girls for my bachelorette trip and we had a great time. Location is great so much to do in the area and loved sitting out my the lake. Only thing I'd say is that the spillway is a little louder than I expected. I loved all the wildlife that we saw too.

I don’t even know where to begin. We have stayed over 75 air bnb’s and this one by far has surpassed our experiences. You do not need to leave the premises at all! We stayed for 2 nights and felt like it was not enough time. Paul and Donna submerged you to total relaxation, party, and fun for every age. My 1 year old had everything she needed and 4 year old loved every activity to the adults having so Much fun! The house is so beautifully decorated inside and out and will be coming back so soon to bring our friends for a parents getaway trip!

Very nice house. Christine was very informative and quick to respond. The house was Spacious and the seniors enjoyed the record player, just like old times. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfy. The only drawback was The towels that were supposed to be white was more cream color and I wish I had brought my towels from home. Maybe the host may consider getting new towels or possibly washing them in a better detergent suited for whites. Other than that, all was great. I would recommend this to anyone. The place was super peaceful and beautiful. My family and I had an amazing time enjoying the view and seeing the deer. If you’re traveling in an electric vehicle, be sure to check out the charging stations nearby, here aren’t many options...but if you’re looking for a peaceful weekend getaway, this is the place to be!

What a gem! From the moment you walk in the door, all the stress melts away! Meticulously spotless. Open floor plan. Beautiful view. Quiet and peaceful. Fully stocked kitchen. Every amenity you could possibly think of was provided. I really can't say enough. Mike was super responsive and checked in with us. My husband and I felt right at home. We will be back!

We were very pleased with the house and location. The dock was perfect for my boat. My whole group loved the house and not want to leave. We would rent the house again without question.

Justyna was awesome! Very responsive when I needed direction or help around the house. T home was exactly as described and I couldn’t have asked more from our stay. Everything was seamless from point of entry to exit. I’m thankful for such great hosts! I look forward to a future visit.

The large group that I brought to this Airbnb hosted by Marcy was very well accommodated leading up to and throughout our stay. Everything was as we expected and more in the house and the amenities were great! The one inconsistency was that the walk to the boats was about 30 minutes instead of the stated 15 on the description (for context the group was majority ex college athletes, so we walked at a decent pace!). But in all honesty, that was the only hiccup for the group. The house felt homey, spacious and was perfectly suitable for a long weekend with a group of friends!

Just as described. The host was great and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Updated, clean, homey feeling place with thoughtful furnishings. The AC worked very well and cooled the house down very well. We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to downtown Honesdale and nearby restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this house and we’d stay here again without question.

The lake house was a fantastic location for a quiet vacation weekend at the lake. Abby was very responsive to any questions.

We had a lovely overnight stay at this house — everything looked just like the pictures, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Check-in was super easy, and Alena was always quick to respond, which made the experience even smoother. We got to enjoy the jacuzzi in the evening, and had a peaceful breakfast on the back porch in the morning. Overall, everything was clean, beautiful, and met our expectations. had a great stay at this Lake Ariel home! The property was very easy to find, and check-in was a breeze. The host was incredibly responsive and made us feel welcome right away with a thoughtful welcome package. The location was peaceful and convenient, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. The place was clean and cozy, it had everything inside my family could have needed and asked for. The bedroom situation was perfect and extremely comfortable. The downstairs living room was fantastic and provided many memories. My grandkids love the place and the space. We could not have asked for a better place or host for our trip.

House was perfectly positioned on a cove of the lake (a no wake zone) and was great for fishing and using the supplied boats with the kids. It was also walking distance to the pool and beach (wish the weather was better so we could have used those amenities). The owners were responsive and nice. An overall good experience. Thank you!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Badger Den lake house. The house was beautiful and the entire property was very spacious. So much that was included: 4 boats, tons of games, and tons of kitchen supplies. Everyone in my group of 9 couldn’t stop raving at how great of a stay it was. We’ll remember this weekend for years!

One of my girlfriends and I stayed here for the weekend since we were doing a MUDGIRL run in the poconos about 30 mins away from the air b and b. The place was just what we needed! It was the perfect amount of space for 2 people, had a fully stocked kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable beds, and a smart tv with various streaming services. Only thing I would suggest is to fix little lip as you go into either of the bedrooms, we kept tripping over them and didn’t want to damage the floor/door. Thank you so much again for everything!
