Cabin holiday rentals in Lake Desolation

Very clean house and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the amenities and making fires. Our dog loved running around the property and we enjoyed being close to town for grocery shopping, cafe access, and hiking trails nearby.

Beautiful cabin with spacious front deck. Great view of lake and moutains. Jacuzzi and smart shower were amazing. Dana was easy to talk to and work with. Would come here again.

This Airbnb was set up perfectly for the group I traveled with. We had plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds, and a great kitchen. The hot tub was an awesome bonus - shout-out to Airbnb manager Ashley for going out of her way to get it set up for us. We were ski racing at West Mountain and the home was conveniently located to the mountain. Would highly recommend it.

I loved staying at Michael’s! It was a beautiful location, very quaint / peaceful and an overall great spot if you’re going to a concert at the SPAC! The hot tub was a nice addition; perfect for 4 people! He was responsive and very friendly, I would recommend anyone to stay here if you’ll be in the area. One note is it did get pretty warm at night, we turned down the thermostat but the upstairs was still pretty warm, open up the windows for a nice cross breeze! Thank you Michael for being a great host and I know if I’m ever in the area, I’ll be returning!

Had a great time! Super cool place to stay, very convenient location near plenty of restaurants and things to do! Had no trouble getting in and enjoying the area, plus got some great suggestions from our host. Would definitely recommend!

It was a very peaceful and relaxing setting. Everything was great. Hot tub is new and worked great. We had a lot of rain and spent a lot of time inside. It was very cozy. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place... they did a great job inside and out. We wished we could have stayed longer. We lost cell reception while there so it was difficult to communicate with Jeff after we'd arrived but Internet worked well enough for entertainment and a little work.

We had a wonderful stay at Zak’s cabin! It’s a very cozy and private place well away from the road. It was nice and warm inside and the hot tub was lovely (make sure to start heating it a few hours before you plan on using). There were a couple things that seemed unfinished: no hand towel or toilet paper holder in the bathroom, no blinds on one of the walls, etc. but it was overall very charming. I would mainly recommend it to people that are used to camping rather than someone looking for a luxury experience: there is a compost toilet inside for #1 which you bring outside at the end of your stay, and you have to go outside to a portapotty for #2. There’s also only 35 gallons of water to begin with and you need to request instructions to refill the tank if you need more (lasted us about two days). This water is only for showering, and you have to bring your own drinking water. Very cool spot to stay! We had a great time!

This was our second time staying at Ania and Stan’s beautiful cabin and just as we anticipated, it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a getaway that feels as cozy as bringing your home to stunning Lake George, this is the place for you! Ania has truly thought of everything! The location really can’t be beat! You have a stunning view of Lake George mixed with the peaceful quiet of the woods surrounding you. If you’re a fan of the night sky, bring your camera because its absolutely breathtaking being able to see so many stars shining right above you. The cabin is so close to town which makes it so easy to get out and really enjoy all that Lake George has to offer. The beds, sofas and linens are all so comfy and cozy. Ania even gave us the heads up that the weather was going to drop quite a bit during our stay and had space heaters already set up to get the cabin nice and comfy for us upon arrival. I cant express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, we cannot wait to get back! 🤍

The host was very responsive and helped us at check in and check out. The cabin was gorgeous and the surrounding views spectacular! We will definitely come back!

This cabin was great for a weekend in Saratoga. A quick Uber into town and a beautiful place to stay! We loved the mini horses. The house had a beautiful outdoor area and the host was easy to get in touch with and friendly

Linda’s home was exactly what we were hoping for: a cabin in the woods with all the comforts and detail one could ever imagine. Tucked away in Fort Ann, you could hear the chipmunks and squirrels rustling in the fallen leaves while enjoying the quiet sounds of nature sitting on the front porch. The home booklet was extremely helpful with outdoor suggestions as well as places to eat. Even net one of the neighbors who was filling us in on the area. We will definitely look to return to share this experience with the rest of our family. Thank you again for such an amazing fall experience.

First of all the pictures for this place don’t do it justice! It’s a beautiful home and way bigger than we expected! We had a great weekend at John’s place and can’t wait to comeback and stay again.

Highly recommended for your stay! We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay for the Belmont Stakes. We are a family of four this time and 2 queen beds were perfect for our stay. The house is easy to find and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The grounds are a perfect camp vibe but with central air conditioning. Two horses came to check us out right away. The third came later, a very spicy lady who snorted and stomped, letting us know or chatting time was over. We had deer visitors, bunnies all over and 2 black and white cats who kept close eyes on our comings and goings. Bathroom was spotless, towels galore and toiletries at the ready in the shower. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Plenty of every kitchen tool and condiments. There’s a country store at the end of the road and a Hannaford as you head in. We can’t wait to stay again!

Our stay was lovely. The weather was not so great however, being right on the lake made it so much nicer. Beautiful views. The bedroom is in the front of the house so you do hear the noise from the main road but that was a small issue compared to all the rest of the house. Beautiful. Can not wait for next years trip.

This cabin is a small slice of serenity. It's cozy, but has everything you need and enough room to sleep a small family. Being right across the street from the lake was incredibly convenient and having access to kayaks was an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again if we are in the area.

The cabin was extremely beautiful and very clean and the host was very nice. Would recommend staying here!! Beautiful area right at the base of the mountain and the host left detailed instructions on local places as well as a local swimming hole that my friend and I swam in. Perfect airbnb!!

The campground is peaceful, well-kept, extremely clean, and well-organized. The sites are spacious and a great mix of pull-through and back-ins. With two young children, I appreciated how quiet the campground was - I didn't have to worry about cars and golf carts zipping past our site. The cabin itself was really great and a happy medium between camping and glamping. The shower was hot, and having our own restroom and kitchenette was so convenient for our family. Cumberland Farms and Dunkin were only a few minutes' drive away for added convenience. It is a straight shot down 149 to Lake George / the outlets, which is also a massive perk. We will be visiting again.

We picked the “Owl’s Nest” as a spot to stay for the first two nights of Americade. After a six hour motorcycle ride, this place was heaven - so quiet, secluded, and peaceful. The shower was delightfully warm, soothing our sore muscles, and it was a treat to listen to the birds and wind in the leaves. We enjoyed using the grill for supper, and the supplied oatmeal made for a delicious breakfast. It was easy to find using the instructions, and the dirt driveway is short and accessible to cruiser bikes too. The porch is a nice place to sit at night, bring instruments if you have them to play outside! There is also a bug screen tent and citronella candles, very useful this time of year. We highly recommend the Owls Nest cabin - and yes you can hear them!!!! We’d love to come back someday!

2nd summer we stayed at Henry’s Air BNB,wouldn’t even think of anywhere else to stay.Just the most Beautiful views of the Lake and Mountains.very quiet and peaceful.Really enjoyed the use of kayaks. This is the place for you to sit back and relieve your stress of everyday life.We will be back for sure!Henry is the perfect host and everything is simple and not complicated.He is very responsive with your texting or phone calls.Setting up the fire pit for us is a plus.

I enjoyed my few days at the Little Green Lake House. Very relaxing. Comfortable. Have to say I was really impressed with the way the house was updated and decorated. Finally caught a couple of fish off the dock once I switched to a smaller size bait. Using the house as my base, one day I visited the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown that is about an hour away and on another day I visited 3 covered bridges.
