Holiday rentals with a patio in Lake Hartwell

We want to return!!! The Dwelling Place was adorable, cozy, perfectly appointed, and perfectly located. We loved the way Susan made the MOST of the space ... she thought of everything to make The Dwelling Place feel like home away from home.

This was my second stay at Rivendell! That should tell the whole story. They did a wonderful job creating this beautiful get away!! My son was graduating from Clemson & we were only 6 minutes from his condo. Location was great for us! Everything we needed was in the apartment…iron & board, washer & dryer, stocked kitchenette, comfy bed & great linens!! We had our truck with us to bring all my son’s belongings home. The only negative was a tight driveway & turnaround (cars are fine) & the sign on the road was a little difficult to see. Highly recommend this lovely apartment!! Thanks Vernon, Maria & Dinah!!

Well, I didn’t personally stay at Sharon‘s place, but my mom did and she couldn’t have had more positive things to say about this property. It will be her new go to home away from home while visiting the grandkids. 10/10.

The condo was beautifully decorated and well equipped. We loved the peaceful location. Craig checked in to see how things were going. We loved this listing so much we reserved it for our next visit to SC

Our stay was perfect! My husband and I decided to get an Airbnb with a pool for the weekend. Within moments of booking, Mark responded with a friendly hello. Upon arrival, everything was exactly as described and he had a very nice welcome basket with snacks and even drinks in the fridge for us to enjoy! The game room was awesome and full of games. We played with an 80’s arcade game machine, shot pool, shuffle board, ping pong and darts. There were board games too and the porch was absolutely beautiful, especially at night!!! We’ve decided to visit again in June and can’t wait! Thank you Mark and Candy for a very fun and relaxing weekend away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

My husband stayed at Yvette's place for a work trip. it was nice and peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful setting. we would definitely recommend her place for future visits

Karl’s place was outstanding. Super clean, cozy and relaxing, the location was amazing less than 5 minutes away from Target/Walmart and tons of others shopping centers, Karl his self was amazing , super nice and respectful. I would highly recommend this to everyone

Jess was an absolutely fantastic and amazing host. She gave us suggestions on things for our dog who has bad anxiety and events that took place while we were there. We came for a family reunion and got everything we needed to wind down on their peaceful property. Walter was a gem too. We automatically looked for him when we left and came back. He’s an addition adorable fur host as well. We will definitely rebook this property each time we are in the surrounding areas. You definitely will find this a rare jewel in the area!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

Our stay at Rhonda’s place was a pleasure! The location was perfect and easy to find! The home was cute, quaint, cozy and impeccably clean! Amazing lake views from every room in the house! The double porches were our favorite place to hang out! Although check in wasn’t until after 5, Rhonda sent us all the info we needed to access the property by 3:00 and to let us know the cleaning crew was finishing up! The house was well stocked with everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay in Lauren's home. You feel like you're living in the Brady Bunch house! Classic 1960s everything. The beds and seating were all very comfortable, and we enjoyed the abundant decks, the hammock, the kayak, the TV... the kitchen had everything you could want, and we appreciated the extra bag of ice and cans of sparkling water they left for us. We highly recommend it. If you're more noise-sensitive, we recommend the downstairs bedroom, which is insulated from the noisier/brighter open layout of the upstairs.

The place is amazing! It’s in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful lake views and morning visits from baby deer - you really can’t ask for a better spot to recharge from city life as a family. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need (and more) for a comfortable stay. There’s also a tucked-away playroom above the garage with rocking chairs and a kids’ craft table, my boys absolutely loved it and spent hours building Legos while their exhausted parents relaxed on the beautiful deck at night. We didn’t have a boat, but still enjoyed the lake to the fullest, the hosts kindly provided a paddleboard and kayak. The walk to the dock was literally just two minutes, with a gentle entry into the lake that’s perfect for little ones, no sharp drops to worry about. The food in the area was hit or miss, but we highly recommend El Arriero at The Shores (fantastic Mexican food) and Grove Fork BBQ. We loved this place! Thank you for having us!

Great little place to stay on the lake. House was as pictured and had plenty of beds. Kitchen had pretty much what’s needed for basic meals, we cooked inside everyday. What I didn’t expect was how big the yard was, the kids had plenty of room and I wish I would’ve brought some yard toys. It’s a nice part of Lake Hartwell, the dock was a major bonus for the kids to jump from. Canoe and kayaks are a thoughtful bonus that aren’t always available for use with other rentals. The neighborhood is quiet and I felt comfortable taking a morning walk alone down the country roads. Host is very responsive and pleasant.

Glen’s place was perfect! Instructions for the house were very clear and helpful. Close to the lake and surrounded by a bunch of great amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful location. Highly recommend a stay at Glen’s.

Jennifer was a great host and her condo was perfectly situated in Sky Valley. It looked recently remodeled and the entire condo was spotless. The tub and bathroom was so clean, as well as the bedding, living room, kitchen, you name it. We loved our stay here and loved that it was quiet & peaceful, but not totally secluded. My husband and I felt really comfortable in the condo and enjoyed our time overall there. We didn’t super LOVE the sleep we got on the bed, but we prefer softer mattresses and sleeping on a king size bed, so I think that contributed to it. It felt like a great quality mattress though and I think others would love it. Loved this condo & I would stay here again if I get the opportunity!

Fran’s place was the perfect place for the family to stay for my son’s graduation. Very close to campus but away from the crowds. Fran’s place was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels felt high end. I would recommend this place 100% and hope to be back! Fran was very proactive and made sure I had everything I needed for a smooth check in and check out.

I really loved the decor throughout and the kitchen was perfectly laid out which made meal time easy. The location is a really pretty spot and we even had Thanksgiving at the club! I would definitely go back again.

I had a fantastic stay at this peaceful condo near Lake Keowee and Clemson! The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described — perfect for a short getaway. The bedrooms were spacious and cozy, with plenty of closet space and ceiling fans in every room. Bonus points for the washer and dryer, fresh linens, and thoughtful touches throughout the home. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, well-equipped place near the water with easy access to outdoor fun and Clemson!
