Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lake Mulwala

Husband and I and son had a lovely time in Tanja’s place in Rutherglen. The place is very well set up, including lovely deck and fire pit areas, and very comfortable. A short walk to main drag was a nice bonus. Great spot to explore the area from.

Four of us had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage. It’s an older style home but refurbished and nicely decorated, has everything you need in the kitchen to eat ‘in’, comfortable beds, good heating and good hot water/shower. Nice to have sourdough bread, ground coffee & bottle of wine provided. It’s on the edge of town (but Rutherglen isn’t very big) so an easy walk to the main part of town or a local brewery, & very close to a winery / cellar door. Good communication & information provided by Alexandra & in an info pack at the cottage.

Lovely, new home overlooking the golf course. The age old debate with air bnb’s - make sure you pack the essentials like toilet paper, dishwashing tablets, washing powder ect - it was inconvenient to head to the supermarket with 6 kids to organise. We did have a lovely time and would stay here again.

My family and I (14 of us all up) Stayed here over Anzac Day weekend for my parents 50th surprise wedding anniversary. My parents were over the moon to have the whole family together in this beautiful house. The lake house has plenty of space for a large group perfect for families it has perfect ammenities, very comfortable beds, walking distance to the Main Street and to top it all off a deadset beautiful view over looking lake mulwala. Aaron was also an absolute pleasure of a host and was so accommodating for us in every possible way so thanks very much mate, we’ll definitely love to stay there again one day down the track. I would definitely recommend staying at the lake house and hope you enjoy it as much as we did 👍🏻

Kimberley’s place was great the little touches were amazing! And a great amount of space, the only thing was having 2 towels each for 3 nights stay was a bit tight especially when we had a lot to do over the 3 days functions etc by the last day the towels were quite wet and cold. Beautiful home, very comfortable with great amenities. Large outdoor decked area for relaxing and well-kept lawn for dogs. Short walk to town centre for cafes and shops. Aldi supermarket a couple of doors away. No need to drive unless going to wineries close by. Charmaine was extremely helpful and a great communicator.

The house was incredibly welcoming and immediately made us feel at home, evoking a wonderful sense of nostalgia. It was in pristine condition, with spacious rooms, excellent amenities, and a beautifully maintained backyard. The location was perfect—just a short walk to a relaxing river trail. My daughter mentioned it was the best stay she’s ever had! All essential amenities were conveniently close by. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

We had the most wonderful time at this holiday home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed having access to the bikes and riding along the lake into town. Definitely hoping to return.

This is a great place to stay, in a quiet residential location, right on the lake with walking tracks nearby. The property had everything we needed and was only 20 minute walk or 5 minutes drive from the Yarrawonga main street and the cafes shops and restaurants. It was super clean and perfect for our 2 couples needs with separate bathrooms and comfortable and spacious lounge and dining areas. It was too hot to use the outside space and bbq but that looked good too. We only stayed 3 nights but would definitely stay again.

Host was so responsive and easy to work with. The apartment was clean and big. The view was great and felt private

great place, reasonable price. My teens liked the place. Small small diaplay items were great to explore around the house. Good to know that Mel Gibson spent some time there:-)
