Holiday rentals with lake access in Lake Nicaragua

My girl friend and I loved this place to escape, unwind, and enjoy quality time with each other in a place that had everything we needed. Go for a swim in the lagoon or pool with the company of two beautiful dogs. The property care takers took very good care of us and access to the property was simple.

Delighted with the facilities, Jimmy and Sara super attentive, likewise your butler. It is a beautiful place with everything to feel at home, I love that has an Electric Emergency Generator. Soon we will be back has fascinated us a lot!

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

We loved staying at Antonio's beautiful home. Well stocked kitchen & living room, super comfy bedrooms & the AC worked great. Great location to wander & shop and loved the dipping pool to cool off at the end of the day. The layout was great because the bedrooms were in the back away from traffic and the kitchen area is separated at the front so you can be noisy in the morning if everyone else is still sleeping!

Casa Yula was a wonderful place to stay! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, each with its own private bathroom. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus during the warmer days. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Eveling, our host, was incredibly responsive and attentive—she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location is also a highlight. There are convenience stores and local restaurants within walking distance, which made it easy to grab meals and essentials. Since my family is originally from Granada, the location was ideal for us to connect with relatives and explore familiar places. Overall, we loved our stay at Casa Yula and would absolutely book this place again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a welcoming, well-located stay in Granada!

Some of the road to get to the airBnB is unpaved. We managed getting there with scooter and a small car. I do think a truck would have been a better option.

You are paying for the location. The location and the size of the property cannot be beat. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around. It is clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had a new sponge which hasn’t been the case at other Airbnbs. And the pool is quite nice! It would be nice if there were a few more kitchen amenities like lids for the pots and seasonings. It would also be nice if the trash in the yard was picked up in case there are children running around barefoot. There were some pop tops/bottle tops. But you cannot beat how close it is to the water. It felt like a private resort.

Good space, very relaxing, coffee maker so easy to use even I could figure it out.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

We enjoyed Carlo's place a lot. Directly located at the laguna with a beautiful garden stretching to the water. The place was clean, good Kitchen Equipment.

Luís Alberto welcomed me very well. He offered extra services and dedicated himself to make the stay enjoyable and enjoyable. Cost/benefit very nice. Returning to Nicaragua, I will definitely look for you again.

I had a wonderful time at Jeydin's place! The cottage is very cozy and also offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. I felt super comfortable from the beginning. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and communication with Jeydin was warm, straightforward and fast. I highly recommend this location – ideal for anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place right on the lake. Thank you, Jeydin – I will be happy to come back!

Great spot right in front of Panga Drops surf break. Cesar was very helpful during our stay showing us around and giving us plenty of local recommendations. Would come back!

Nothing bad to say about Hector y Isabel's place. Hector was such an amazing host who is so gracious and knowledgeable about the beautiful island of Ometepe. He gave us a great deal on renting his motorcycle and even brought in his sister in law to teach us how to cook local cuisine. If you ask nicely, he might even bring you up the hill and show you his beautiful farm on the side of the Maderas Volcano. Great location right on the beach and close to restaurants and 2km or so to Ojo De Agua. Do yourself a favor and stay in this great spot. Thanks Hector!

Wilmer was there to great us. We loved the dogs and neighbors were very nice. The landscaping is out of this world. The trees lit up at night were amazing. The natural tree canopy above the hammock was great(our first night it was raining but we could stay in the hammock area and not get wet. The lake is very refreshing and clean. At sunrise and sunset...e every bird and monkey is creating a melody. The perfect place to relax and be with nature. Marcia was a available as well as Wilmer to respond to anything. This is a once in a lifetime experience. You will live the life of luxury during your stay

This was our second stay and as expected, it exceeded our expectations . I am sure we will return again, we absolutely love this place.

We had a great time at Jeffrey's. The home is large and comfortable and the views of the lagoon are beautiful. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I had a wonderful time. The location is perfect, easy to get to grocery/atm or restaurants. Having a scooter made things easier but everything is also walkable. We were surprised to find how windy this side of the island gets, but it keeps the temperature cooler and easy to sleep in. Our private hostel was spacious and clean - and coming from the U.S. we found the price to be well worth it.

The whole family (adults and kids from 6-16) agreed that this was the best place we’ve ever stayed. It is completely secluded and peaceful. Lying in the hammocks watching the birds was amazing. And the lake is incredible. We spent hours and hours and hours swimming and kayaking. The water is clear and warm. The caretaker was friendly but discreet. You wouldn’t know there were there unless you needed something. Keep in mind you are basically in the jungle, It’s not a luxury hotel, (it’s way better) but is still comfortable and has everything you need. The kitchen is open so there are bugs and mosquitos as you would expect from this environment, would be worth bringing bug spray or mosquito coils. I wish we could live there it was such a lovely weekend.

Wilber and Lesbia were wonderful hosts and their place was absolutely beautiful. It was clean despite it being quite rustic. We had many animals and bugs come through and it was a very fun experience. The private beach and access to the lake was incredible and the homemade breakfasts are highly recommended.

The time at the Papaki house was very nice. I felt at home. Teresa supported me in everything I needed! Also, I was able to practice my Spanish with her;) the location was great, close to the beach and waterfall! Would love to come back anytime:)
