Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Nicaragua

Encantada con las instalaciones, Jimmy y Sara super atentos, de igual manera su mayordomo. Es un lugar bellisumo con todo para sentirse como en nuestra propia casa, me encanto que cuentan con Generador Electrico de Emergencia. Pronto regresaremos nos ha fascinado mucho!

The landscape and scenery were just spectacular! The place was so immaculately landscaped with plenty of lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The caretaker was super helpful in getting us tours, restaurant suggestions and taking care of whatever we needed. The lake was beautiful and perfect temperature to swim in. We heard monkeys, roosters and tons of birds. It was a lovely jungle experience. The last night we had a major thunderstorm that lasted all night and we lost power so that was exciting and added to the full Nicaraguan experience. The road to get to the house is well paved, except the last 1/4 mile or so which was a rough dirt road so make sure you have an suv. I would definitely stay here again and for longer next time. There are restaurants a half mile away that are quite nice with equally great views.

Nous avons passé un séjour de 2 mois plus-que-parfait. Anika et Tony ont été des hôtes super accueillants et très réactifs. Si vous souhaitez vous immerger dans une petite communauté nicaraguayenne authentique, c’est l’endroit qu’il vous faut. 3 plages à proximité, toutes accessibles à pied. Il y a un minimarket à 2 min à pieds pour tous les essentiels. Mon copain a fait du télétravail et le wifi était bien parfait. Un petit bijou! Nous y retournons l’an prochain.

Words are hard to explain how beautiful this house is. It is very exclusive with its infinity pool and direct access to the pristine waters of Laguna de Apoyo. The house itself is impeccable with everything you could imagine and very well stocked for all of your cooking needs. Coffee lovers will be delighted by the coffee grinder and fresh coffee beans provided by staff to brew a fresh delicious pot of Nicaraguan coffee in the morning! I loved it so much I bought an extra bag of the beans! Another step further, the breakfast at the beach club with the option of them delivering to the house is amazing. Make sure to place your order early to give the staff enough time to cook and deliver to the house. The driveway to the house from the wooden gate is a bit steep so make sure you have a vehicle that’s 4x4 - our 15 passenger van barely made it back up. The host and all the staff members are amazing and very accommodating. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Christopher fue un gran anfitrión, su casa es perfecta, la piscina limpia, la comodidad de las habitaciones y lo tranquilo del lugar te permite descansar muy bien! la cocina cuenta con los utensilios necesarios para preparar alimentos! valió la pena la estadía acá!

Hacienda Iguana is a great destination for surf vacationers. World-class waves are within walking distance. Air conditioners that could make ice cubes. A great reprieve from the tropical jungle heat. Local shops and restaurants with friendly staff. Anything you need you can rent or buy. Private and quiet. Monkeys in the trees. Iguanas crossing the roads. Thunderstorms create an amazing light show at night. 18-hole golf course on location if the waves die down. Victor and his helpers are great communicators and can offer suggestions for first-time visitors. As with most developing nations, there can be unexpected power outages. Fortunately, the place has backup power that can last for hours.

We loved our stay at Papagayo’s house! The place was more than we expected! We were able to go to a few beaches that were very close to the house! Highly recommended!

Jim’s place was beautiful, clean and private ! Great getaway ! Jim was very responsive and very attentive! 100 percent recommended.

Corrin e Jacq foram anfitriões excepcionais. Sempre presentes e super diligentes. A casa, por sua vez, é perfeita: excelente localização, equipada com tudo com o que você precisa (e mais um pouco) e extremamente confortável e agradável. Foi uma experiência incrível, que recomendo a todos (especialmente a quem surfa, tendo em vista as duas ondas “world class” localizadas dentro do condomínio).

Sin dudas uno de los mejores Airbnb en los que nos hemos hospedado en San Juan Del Sur! El anfitrión fue genial siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros dándonos indicaciones y haciendo de nuestra estadía más tranquila. Si teníamos alguna duda o consulta Jimmi respondía casi que de inmediato! El apartamento súper elegante, cómodo. Un espectáculo ver el atardecer desde la bañera que se encuentra en el punto más alto, era una locura la vista de la bahía desde ahí. Sin duda volveremos a visitar este lugar muy pronto.

We had the pleasure of staying at La Giralda. The view was amazing and everything is just as described. It’s a great place to take a step back, relax and enjoy nature. The monkeys and the birds greeted us every morning. We also saw a bat, a couple of cool squirrels and cicadas. Luis really went out of his way to provide great local recommendations and was super attentive to my family and I. Always willing to help and extremely friendly. There’s no doubt we will be staying at La Giralda again.

We had a great time at Jeffrey's. The home is large and comfortable and the views of the lagoon are beautiful. We will definitely be back.

This is my second time staying with Miki and it definitely won't be the last. She is the best host you could ever ask for. She is always super responsive and proactive. The house itself is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and Miki is always giving recommendations for local events. The apt is super close to the beach. The internet works great.

Amazing place with a beautiful property. Access to treecasa amenities were great and they have a nice restaurant as well which is a 4 minute drive or 25 minute walk. Town is quite far but we were provided with multiple options for cab companies and delivery services by the host which were extremely helpful!

Nos quedamos en la casa proxima a la piscina, el alojamiento cumplio con todas nuestras expectativas, es muy espacioso, la cocina tenía todo lo necesario para poder organizar nuestras comidas y las vistas son espectaculares. Las habitaciones tienen buen tamaño e iluminación. Además tuvimos la suerte de poder participar de un evento/encuentro que John había organizado y que incluía una cena muy completa en un ambiente súper familiar, recomiendo preguntar a John sobre sus eventos e intentar coordinar la estadía con uno de ellos para vivir esa experiencia también. Gracias por todo John, con seguridad volveremos!

Le logement est en tous points conforme à la description, confortable et calme. La terrasse, les hamacs et les chaises d'extérieur incitent à la détente. La situation géographique, à une minute de marche de Playa Maderas et de Playa Majagual, est idéale pour qui cherche à profiter des vagues pour surfer, des baies tranquilles pour se baigner, tout en étant à l'écart du chaos urbain de SJDS. Il est facile de manger et de boire, à des prix raisonnables, dans les restaurants et bars situés à proximité, sur les plages. Pour les visiteurs souhaitant cuisiner eux-mêmes, il est primordial de prévoir de tout apporter avec soi - le commerce alimentaire le plus près est à environ 25 minutes de pistes, principalement non-asphaltées. Nous y séjournerions à nouveau sans hésiter.

Perfekte lage für Familie, kann jede Zeit sehr gut eingekauft werden. Zu Fuß ist der Zentrum auch gut erreichbar, Taxi zu finden ist aber auch kein Thema. Die Küche ist toll ausgestattet wir haben sehr gefreut über die Unterkunft. Tolle Kindersicheres Garten. 🥰☀️

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

I really enjoyed my stay here. The location is great and there is lots to do, including a beautiful beach that is walking distance. There's a few nice restaurants with fresh seafood and as a solo female traveller I felt completely safe. Timothy was really friendly and helpful and the dogs are lovely companions. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Quiet with good security, nice views, high ceilings, very comfortable beds. Walkways can get very dark at night. Do not go out without a flashlight. It’s a little walk up to the pools, which are definitely worth a visit. No AC on the top floor, which got pretty warm. I think it was a great value for the accommodations. Cleaning lady came three times in a week. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Rakel

Nuestra estancia en la villa fue maravillosa. El lugar es acogedor, limpio y muy bien cuidado, ideal para descansar y disfrutar de la naturaleza. La vista a la laguna es espectacular y el ambiente es muy tranquilo. Miriam fue una excelente anfitriona: siempre atenta, amable y dispuesta a ayudarnos en todo momento. Se nota el cariño con el que cuida cada detalle. Sin duda, nos encantaría volver.

Una casa espectacular la recomiendo al 100%, Don Eliecer siempre atento cuando lo contacte! El lugar súper seguro y de fácil acceso! La casa en sí está bien equipada y cuentan con un sistema bien tecnológico me encantó! Volvería 1 y mil veces
