Great place with a helpful host and groundskeepers. The yard is clean and spacious, great for personal relaxation and quite airy. it's beautiful. Elyse was quite supportive and friendly. Absolutely great!

The house is in a beautiful garden and the terrace allows you to admire Lake Tanganyika. The interior. the bedrooms, the living room are spacious and well appointed. The house is really inhabited, decorated, lively. Kitchen has what's necessary. The city center with shops and the market are 10 minutes walk. We had a lovely stay. I would definitely recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay with Mteule very much. He picked us up in town and took us to the house which is located around 2 km outside the immediate town surrounded by hills. He also made sure we accessed a supermarket and got all things we needed. He also arranged for help to cook in the house since it's located away from restaurants. The place felt very comfortable and safe and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay with Mteule again.

Great Host. Place was a little mansion. Keep in mind it's actually in Bujumbura, not Gitega.

If you are looking for quality accommodation, in a peaceful setting but without being cut off from the world, you will succumb to the charms of this beautiful house. Louise was on top of everything from our arrival until our departure: a real mother hen. Always present when we needed her or a simple piece of information. Our stay was a real moment of pure happiness. All thanks to their recommendations I hope to see you again when I return to Buja

I recently stayed at Hija's House in the Mlole Area, Kigoma, for six nights, and it was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made my stay memorable. The house is charming and spacious, with three bedrooms. We were lucky to be the first to stay after a major renovation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Kigoma. The kitchen is fully equipped with almost everything you need for meal preparation. The house has parking for 2-3 mid-sized vehicles, with ample space outside the wall fence. The National Housing neighborhood in Mlole is peaceful and safe, with a security guard at the entrance. Hija's House is conveniently located near local attractions, markets, and public transportation. I enjoyed visiting nearby Lake Tanganyika and engaging in various water activities. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Hija's House to anyone.

The house is just 5 minutes from the city center and in a very quiet neighborhood. The water and electricity are really regular, unlike other areas of Bujumbura. Really recommend ++++

My stay was perfect, the place is neatly and extremely worth exceeding my expectations. I will for sure recommend anyone visiting to choose the Kidyama house. Grace went extra miles on services offered on accommodation and gastronomy (Foods). I will absolutely be back at this location soon.

Very nice place. Super comfortable beds. Great air conditioning. Great bathrooms and showers. Very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful for walking and it’s a quick walk to the beach.

Eddy is certainly the most kind and understandable host that a guest can expect. The neighborhood is quiet and secure. The cook is excellent and reliable. I will be back soon. Thanks Eddy
