Just a 1-minute walk away across the street is a strolling garden. According to legend, this garden was known as the “Oyaku-en” because it was used to grow medicinal herbs for Morioka Castle. Located right in front of it, this house displays a sign that reads “Oyakuenmae” and began offering private lodging in April 2026. We are renovating this 50-year-old building to create a space that honors the past while embracing the future.
