Gadestatt is a traditional Maiensäss. A Maiensäss is a cultural peculiarity of Swiss history. These simple but beautiful wooden buildings used to be inhabited on the Alps during the summer. From here the cows were guarded and cheese was made from fresh milk. Gadestatt offers you an authentic overnight accommodation with lots of charm and attention to detail. In Room 25 - Living in the Old Town

Located in the middle of the old town of Thun and yet quiet. Breakfast is not included in the price. However, you can have breakfast in the restaurant Karussell which is located on the first floor of the building for CHF 14.00 per person. The opening hours are on weekdays from 09:00 to 17:30 & on weekends from 10:00 to 16:00. You can also take the breakfast "Take Away" to your room.

The yurt is situated in the most beautiful panoramic position above Lake Lucerne. It is comfortable and comfortably furnished. The newly renovated bathroom is located in the annex, a few steps away from the yurt, and is exclusively available to our guests. We spoil our guests with a rich farmer's breakfast.
