Bungalow holiday rentals in Lamai

Great place to relax and unwind, simple and functional rooms with an exceptional view of the ocean.

We (me and my girlfriend) stayed at the family bungalow for a month and had a great time. We were both working remotely, and the family bungalow worked great for this -- we both had a seperate room with AC for working. There were also 2 balconies that worked well for calls, at least if one is heat tolerant :) The area fit us very well, it is a more laid-back part of the island The beach is just meters away (great for swimming during high tide) and there are multiple great restaurants on the way to the main road. Also, the commuication with the host worked very well and we were able to do self-check in early in the morning after having to reschedule our flight with no issues.

Great location with wow factor. The Bungalow is a great place to relax and put your feet up. It is tastefully decorated and has a positive vibe about it. It lies at the end of Bong Por Beach which is very quiet compared to other beaches in Samui. It has beautiful views out towards Koh Panghan. We loved the indoor-outdoor setup of the bungalow and would definitely come back here and stay again. Communication with Marina around the reservation and with Spy whilst staying at the bungalow was excellent.

“Amazing bungalow in the perfect seaside location! The interior is simple and minimalistic, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There’s a scooter rental available right on site, which made exploring super easy and hassle-free. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — she even arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport. The area is peaceful and beautiful, a quieter side of Koh Samui, which we really appreciated. But the absolute highlight was the view from the terrace: directly over the ocean – truly breathtaking. Highly recommend!”

We were 3 friends and had a fantastic stay in this villa with private pool. Everything was impeccable, clean and the staff was extremely kind. Thanks to them we had a great holiday. Thanks again 🙏

We stayed here for two weeks in August and had a great experience. The house has everything you need—it's spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property is shared with three other houses and a shared area with a pool and shower. The views are beautiful, with a dense forest on one side and banana plants and palm trees on the other, giving a real countryside jungle vibe. There's also a cute cat named ChaCha living on the property! The location is a bit far from the main town, so you’ll need a scooter or car since there are no sidewalks and the nearest shop is a 2-3 minute drive away. Communication via Airbnb was a little confusing at first, but once we arrived, everything was smooth. When we didn’t know how to turn on the hot water (a circuit breaker was off), they helped us in a matter of minutes. Everyone's very nice and friendly so don't be afraid to ask! Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommend, and I’d visit again!

We loved our stay in Think and Retro cafe. The stand out for us was the Saturday night fire show. They have fantastic food, a menu full of variety, great cocktails, and attentive staff which all meant we felt right at home. Clean bedsheets and working a/c felt wonderful. Quirky feel with the containers (mostly felt in the bathroom), wonderful beach cafe/restaurant and place to chill out. Laundry place walkable down the road. Really great stay.

Lovely time spent at Honey Cottages. The view of the beach was delightful and the pool was so refreshing. Terrific live music. Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. It’s a tropical paradise and to hear the waves crashing from your room is a rare treat. The balcony was a great place for chatting and enjoying the views.

It looks even better than the photos The location: out of the way slightly up the mountain, very private and quiet, felt like a peaceful retreat. We hired a car which made it so easy to get around Actual Airbnb: The room is even better than the photos, very comfortable and gets a lot of breeze if doors are left open, stays very cool. the whole property is stunning, the breakfast in the mornings is incredible, the staff that work there are so friendly and Kristin is so personable and a great host. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and will be going back. Loved the personal recommendations and the pool area with lounge chairs etc.

Everything about Kim’s Airbnb was perfect. The accommodation was exactly what we expected. Private, Super clean and comfortable. Kim was so helpful with her local suggestions for food, activities and massages. If we ever go back to Samui we’d stay here again. The view onto the beach is incredible and the beach itself was our favourite on the island in our opinion. Thanks Kim!

We were welcomed with open arms, it was now our 2nd stay because we like it so much. The grandparents manage everything perfectly, are always very friendly and helpful. We like them both very much. They are very reserved and yet present when desired. The nights are very quiet and relaxing and the whole area is a feast for the eyes. A bit far on foot to Nathon Pier, but with a scooter everything is very easy. We will be visiting for the 3rd time next year... Thank you so much for the great vacation! Karen and Guido
