Waterfront holiday rentals in Lapland

We had a great time at Eija's place. It's as nice as the pictures suggest and a good starting place for exploring northern Finland. As a general tip, I'd recommend traveling by car, then you can easily reach several national parks and other sights in the area, as well as Rovaniemi. The area is calm, the frozen lake and snowy scenery make for a serene retreat. Eija was always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended!

The view from the windows is uniquely overwhelming. You must have experienced this live. This applies to all three rooms: living/dining room with kitchenette, sauna!! and bedroom. We can only recommend this accommodation.

Cozy and spacious apartment in the center of Rovaniemi. Shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The host responded very quickly to messages. Excellent communication with host.

We spent 4 days here with the family and were very satisfied. Everything as described and very quiet. You are quickly towards Ruka/Lapland, but also quickly at shops.

Wonderful stay in Lapland and the apartment is warm, clean and very functional. Niina and Heini are adorable and very responsive if you have any problems or questions. Also very well located you are a 10 min walk from shops and the city center. We are delighted with our stay in Rovaniemi and leave with the stars in our eyes. Thanks to Niina and Heini

This place was heaven! It had all the facilities and things we hoped for a relaxing holiday. Sauna, jacuzzi. View of the lake, peace and tranquility. The first two days of our trip we were really stressed as the airport had lost our luggage but i have to say coming back to this place, really made us forget about all our problems.

Unfortunately, the maximum is only five stars, actually 5* ++++😃. The house is modern, fully equipped, very clean. Beautiful view of the river and the mountain. Super comfortable beds, well soundproofed bedrooms. Close shopping opportunity. Lots of attractions/program opportunities within a few kilometers. It was an ideal accommodation for four adults and a dog. We booked the accommodation spontaneously, yet everything worked quickly and without any problems. Tapani is very flexible as a host. One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in. Excellent price - service ratio.

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

Property as advertised. Professional communication. I would come again. Extra: +A sufficiently large yard for parking cars and trailers. +At least this time, the water area in front of the cottage was fishable with waders and a spinning rod.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Rovaniemi. The flat is very central and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. The flat is furnished to a very high standard and you immediately feel at home. I can really recommend it! Leena is a great host and was always easy to contact.

There was nothing to fault, and we loved every moment spent here. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The attention to detail made our experience even better. It was great! The apartment is super central, you can do a lot on foot. It is modern and has everything you need.

We traveled with our 7-month-old baby and Hanna-Leena was very accommodating with everything (in-cancellation, etc.), which made our trip very successful! The glassed-in balcony was perfect for naps and our sweetheart enjoys bathing so the tub was a bonus. The location by the river was perfect considering all the activities we wanted to do.
