The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

Wonderful getaway in Iceland

Very nice and homey cabin in wonderful nature, only 45 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The cottage is located close to lake Meðalfellsvatn which is a beautiful lake with great fishing conditions. Beautiful cabin in the South of Iceland. If you want to relax and enjoy the nature this is excellent choice. The Cabin is located at Litli Háls farm only 45 minutes from Reykjavik and 15 minutes from Selfoss. The scenery is so beautiful around the cabin, walking paths in the area and all around.
