Fourth generation lives on the farm, with ewes who roam freely with their lambs during summer. Since the year 1929 we have been harnessing the river Sandá, producing now annually ca. 5 GWh of electrical energy for both the farm itself and the nearby area, including the nearby village Laugarvatn.
