Extremely impressed by this residence. Reasonably close to the centre of Launceston. Interior was very well presented. Would definitely stay again.

This accomodation was thought out in every element, a beautiful comfortable stay! With few complimentary touches. Nardia was super easy to communicate with and ensured that everything was fine. Location was good and walkable to the city centre. Would recommend staying here.

Our best stay yet in Launceston. Walking and swimming at the beautiful First Basin Reserve at the bottom of the street. Off street parking a little tricky so it is best to practice your backwards driving in preparation. The decor is highly personalized and would not suit a minimalist.

I can only highly recommend staying here. Such a friendly and accomodating owner (with a beautiful dog on their property), Very clean place with all the essentials close to an IGA, just perfect for us and our kids.

A wonderful place to stay in central Launceston. Very easy to walk everywhere, close to supermarkets, restaurants and local attractions. Was super warm in the middle of winter. Kitchen is furnished well, I was able to cook full meals for a week, and the dishwasher was a bonus! I will definitely stay again next time I travel back to Launnie.

Amazing house that wowed us from the moment we entered. The photos really don’t do the place justice, particularly its size - the kitchen is just enormous! The hot tub was our highlight, and we spent many hours in this.

What a gem in Launceston! Our three-generation family of 11, first-time visitors from a tropical country, ended our Tasmanian trip perfectly at Ann's place. Arriving on a cold day, we were greeted by a pre-warmed house – so thoughtful! The location near Coles supermarket was incredibly convenient. We frequently stocked up for home-cooked meals, easily prepared in the well-equipped kitchen. The house was beautiful, offering abundant space for our large family. The teenagers loved the piano in the first living room, and there was ample room for everyone to relax in the spacious living and dining areas. Our only regret was not discovering the comprehensive manual until our last day (our oversight, despite Ann's mention!). It was packed with her personal recommendations for places and tips. We wish we'd found it sooner! Overall, a beautiful house, a fantastic experience, and Ann was a wonderful host. A perfect end to our memorable Tasmanian adventure.

Warm and welcoming, with everything we needed for our stay. Being 2 couples it was great with the 2 bathrooms, comfortable lounge area and kitchen was bright and sunny with all we needed to prepare meals. It was a great place to base ourselves and explore the area. Even had the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing soak in the huge freestanding bath (lovely after a day exploring). Bedrooms were spacious, extra heaters and electric blankets for those cold nights and the beds were extremely comfortable. Would highly recommend and definitely will be back.

Lovely cottage to stay at! House was clean, accessible, cozy, warm, full of amenities, and felt like home. Nell was very easy to communicate with and provided a cot and extra mattress as listed in the add ons which made it easy to travel with my parents, wife, 4 year old and 8 month old. VERY reasonably priced for accommodating all of us on short notice for our trip to Ben Lomond. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area. Thanks Nell!

Thrower house is one of the most beautiful homes I've ever been in. The view from the balcony in the mornings is to die for and the night view is equally magical. The house is very well appointed and had all the supplies for our 4 day stay. It was very evident that a lot of thought was put into designing and decorating the house. We felt very much at home during our stay there. The house is a stone's throw away from the Cataract Gorge and a very short drive away from the main attractions in the city. The house is located in a very serene and beautiful neighbourhood and the view from up the hill is absolutely breathtaking. Chris was a brilliant host and was very accomodating with our request for an early check in. He checked in on us regularly during the stay and gave us great local recommendations as well. I would totally recommend the Thrower house and would love to come back another time.
