Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh

Nice’s place was great! Convenient location - we visited the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and the Tour-Ed Coal Mine. Both were easy to get to. Comfortable beds, nice set up of the bedrooms. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pool table in the basement was a plus - my grandson and husband played many games during our stay. Highly recommend this home!

Nice place. I would stay again. Some particular "pros": - Location: very close to a lot of good restaurants, bars, etc. Easy to get downtown too. - Clean: very clean. - Spacious: lots of space on both floors plus a small back yard area. I will highlight two "cons": - Stairs are crazy steep. I saw this in other reviews, but didn't really understand until we were there. Not a problem for us, but if you were older, I could see it being a challenge. - Temperature control. It was very hot at night when we were there and it was only April. Opening a window wasn't a good option with the outside noise. Aside from the above, it's a great place and those two shouldn't deter you from booking unless they are deal breakers for you.

The place was perfectly clean! The host left us plenty of coffee and a brita filter so we didn’t have to buy water bottles. We never had a problem finding street parking. This apartment is just down the road from great restaurants in Lawrenceville and 10-15 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh. The only possible detractor worth noting is the bathroom is quite small. If you are a bigger person you may have a little trouble navigating the shower. Other than that, the place was absolutely awesome.

I really enjoyed my stay at Cortney's place. it is an older place with steep staircase but other than that it was clean and located in a good neighborhood. Very walkable to Bars and to Ritter's Diner for breakfast. Definitely recommend Cortney's place as well as Ritter's. Cortney was great to deal with and was very proactive with helping me get everything I needed for my stay. I highly recommend and will stay again if I'm in the area.

This place was perfect! Very easy to access from both parking options. Chad responded almost instantly and was really accommodating. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable house in a great location. Only half a block off Butler St, with tons of shops, restaurants, coffee, and bars. The house is located in an alley, so the place is a hidden sanctuary. We only heard some faint nightlife sounds on weekend nights. The parking spot is really nice to have and it's no problem to get into if you're practiced at parallel parking. Overall, great spot, would stay there again!

Very clean! Great kitchen and great beds. Had the nice touches of a good Airbnb (extra bedroom fans, coffee, hand soap, plenty of paper towels/toilet paper for a short stay). No chores at checkout! Our only issue was parking being a bit of a challenge. Overall great place!

My husband and I loved staying at April's place. It was very roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed to be able to feel at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, so it was a charming place to enjoy our down time while on our vacation. We also adore the neighborhood. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely spotless place! Beautiful and up-to-date. Easy to head in to the city from here. Great host perfect communication. 1000% recommend. Great value!

Beautiful apartment, even better in person!

Robert’s place was as advertised. The apartment itself was spotless and was well above what we were expecting. The hosts communicated very well and responded immediately with any questions I had. They took extra time to lay out step by step instructions so parking and check in was very easy and exactly as described. This was one of the best stays I have had and again I can’t stress enough how spotless the apartment was. I highly recommend for anyone staying in the area.

This cute little Airbnb in Shadyside met all my expectations. Check-in was easy and instructions were clear. The entire building felt secure and the free parking space in the back was convenient. Alex responded to all my questions in a timely manner. I do agree with another reviewer that the AC is quite loud, but you can always crawl back behind the bed to turn it off, which is what I did. The Airbnb was clean and well-organized. I do wish the bathroom was a bit bigger, especially the sink. Overall, this is a great little place. I enjoyed being able to walk to the grocery store, restaurants, etc. It's definitely ideal for a solo traveler or a couple. Thanks again, Alex!

We enjoyed our stay! Evren was very responsive and helpful. He was even kind enough to mail a set of keys that we accidentally left. Lawrenceville is a great area with lots of shops and great restaurants within walking distance. It was an accessible location to the rest of the city as well which is a short drive away. We were able to find free parking down a side street throughout our stay. As others noted, the noise at night from the street is significant which may bother some people. The airbnb itself was clean, well stocked, and perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. P.S. the bidet was a nice touch.

Keith’s home is wonderful! I was pleased with how clean the home was. It’s in a quiet neighborhood that’s 3 minutes away from a bus stop, so it was quite easy to get around. Keith was very accommodating and responsive, and was overall an amazing host. I would definitely recommend staying here while in Pittsburgh.

Michelle and her dad, Mike, were great hosts! Their apartment is roomy and well equipped. It was a good fit for a family of three, but I wouldn't recommend it for two couples as there's only one bathroom (with a great shower). It's got plenty of workspace, including a full desk, and the underground parking was easy to access. I'd recommend this apartment highly and would be happy to stay there again. Thanks for a great stay in the 'burgh!

Spent the first night walking to a local restaurant, otherwise anywhere else we drove there was always parking available on the map Julie provided. Excellent guide provided by host. Will stay with Julie again the next time I'm in town!

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Kelly Jane’s in Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh It is near our daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law’s which is why we chose it to begin with. But we also loved the apartment—2 bedrooms and it is very clean, pretty quiet, and extremely well furnished. It is probably the best equipped rental I have ever seen. Everything you would need is provided. She has thought of everything. She is always responsive in communications and her instructions are clear. My sister stayed with us here for the first time and she thought it was great too. We really enjoyed our stay.

So nice, so clean what a great apartment. Everything is as described. Easy in, easy out. Literally everything is labeled and has instructions. Great windows with a fantastic view of Pittsburgh. Kitchen is wonderful, best coffee I've had in a long time. I cannot recommend this property enough. My son and I had the best time, looking forward to coming back. Stephanie was the most gracious of hosts.

This is truly charming. Beautifully decorated and very clean. I love toys were provided for my little grandbabies. The only complaint I have is I wish time would have allowed us to stay longer.
