Ideally located between Niort and La Rochelle, at the gates of the Marais Poitevin. You have all the amenities in Mauzé-sur-le-Mignon, including an indoor pool, and a nice walk along the Canal du Mignon. The gîte is located next to the N11. 30 min from La Rochelle, Chatelaillon beach; 1 hour from the Futuroscope. Hot tub available from May to September.

The Reed Bed

Market gardener's house on the edge of the Sèvre Niortaise on a private towpath with no traffic. It is located 800 m from the Bazoin locks pier, where you can rent a boat, canoe, but also a bike and quadracycle... Great area for fishing and beautiful walks in the heart of the Poitevin marsh. In the village of Damvix, you will find a convenience store with lottery, tobacco and newspapers, a bakery, a butcher, delicatessen and caterer, hairdresser, pharmacy, garage, restaurants, piers... etc.
