Childwall Cottage

Our lovingly restored and converted stone barn. Our aim is for guests to experience a historic and traditional Irish country home, while enjoying the comforts of modern living. We have SKYTV, DVD and WIFI but we can also offer the peace and quiet of the rural Irish countyside. Three double bedrooms compliment a spacious open plan ground floor. With its own grounds and parking, this stone property is on the edge of three counties and perfect for exploring the ancient south east and its coast.

Riverside Cottage

Find your home away from home in our quaint cottage nestled between the River Barrow and The Grand Canal. Take a stroll or cycle along the famous 46km stretch of The Barrow Blueway or cast your fishing rod into the world of coarse fishing on the Grand Canal. Why not take a walk into town across the Aqueduct and visit some of our favourites such as Mooneys & Brennans or snuggle up to a log burning stove. The local Kids playground is a 5 minute stroll away should the kids need some play time.

The Coach House

The Coach house has recently been lovingly restored and is full of charm and light. It has a calm, tranquil feel with every comfort a visitor could wish for. It is the perfect place for an Irish getaway nestled on the shores of Blessington lake and surrounded by the majestic Wicklow Mountains. Within 10 mins there are the villages of Ballymore Eustace and Hollywood both with wonderful Gastro-pubs and Blessington for all shopping. Russborough House is also close by and is truly worth visiting.

Though in reality once at ours you are a world away in the peace, beauty and tranquillity of rural Ireland and its spectacular nature. Pet friendly. A newly renovated two bedroom cottage in the grounds of Killua Castle, described as the most romantic demesne in Ireland. You can enjoy lovely walks through our regenerative grounds Your stay gives you a discounted rate of €50 per group (normally €50 per person) tour of Killua Castle subject to availability. You can also fine dine at Twelve Points, just few steps away from cottage.

'The Old Cowshed'

A cosy retreat in the Wicklow mountains. Close to many popular tourist attractions and beautiful beaches. A haven for walkers and cyclists. Fifty minutes from Dublin airport Restaurants and bars five minutes away as well as local amenities. The property has beautiful views of the Wicklow mountains from the lounge and dining area. The vaulted ceiling gives a spacious feel, whilst the wood burning stove and under floor heating provide warmth and comfort.

Conveniently Located just 15 minutes from the heritage town of Birr and just1.5 hours from Dublin and 1 hour from Galway, our cottage is perfect for exploring all of Ireland's hidden heartland has to offer including the stunning River Shannon.

Peacock House

The Peacock House is located within the Lismore Demesne. It was once the dairy and workers cottage. From the 1980s onwards it was used to house peacocks, giving the cottage its name. After being left dormant for 80 years it was lovingly restored three years ago. These days it is a bright and cozy cottage offering tranquil views of mature trees and park land. There is private access to forest walks along the Doney Stream just outside the doorstep.

“The Barn” is a beautifully restored 19th century building beside our Farm house, finely furnished for your comfort. Enjoy an Emperor size, bed dressed in luxury cottons. Although “The Barn” is private I'm always on hand. Nestled snugly on our farm at the end of a country lane, surrounded by gardens & lush countryside. Walk the towpaths of Borris, venture up Mt Leinster, enjoy the quaint pubs of Clonegal. Kilkenny City is a must.

The cottage has a private garden at the back set within lush woodlands. It is located in the village of Manor Kilbride and there is an excellent local shop within a 5 minute walk. This cottage enjoys being close to the city but away from it all.
