Manigod SKI LOFT - Beautiful view - skis on your feet -

Apartment at 1500 m, magnificent view of the mountains. Ski at the bottom of the building directly at the Manigod resort (La Clusaz ski area). Merdassier snow front is lively during the winter with night skiing on weekends and holidays. In summer you can enjoy walks, an outdoor swimming pool (July/August, €4 and €2 per day) playgrounds (tennis/ping pong/swings). Shops and rentals (ski/mountain bike) in season downstairs from the building.

In the heart of the Aravis, in unspoiled nature

The apartment is off the main street and therefore it is wonderfully quiet. Only the ringing of the cow bells and the sound of the creek. We have been to the mountain river "Fier" several times and those who dare can refresh themselves wonderfully in the summer. In July and August there is a small market in Manigod on Tuesdays. In Thônes(6 km away ) there are plenty of opportunities for shopping. There is also a way to "tap" fresh milk there 24/7. Of course, you should also not miss to taste the cheese made there on one of the farms. For us, it was the first time in France that we could drink the tap water. It comes from one of the surrounding mountains and is very drinkable. Overall a great holiday with everything necessary in the apartment and a very nice view of the mountains.

The Wooden House

Very pleasant communications with Marine, who sent us very helpful directions and photographs via text. She also connected us with SkiRide, excellent for renting ski equipment. The location is eight minutes walk from the slopes, the balcony offered a beautiful view especially first thing in the morning when the moon set over the mountains. The linen and beds were very comfortable with plenty of soft & very clean towels supplied. It is a small apartment, probably best suited to 2 adults though our 2 young children enjoyed sleeping in the bunkbeds that fold out in the doorway corridor. The kitchen was suitable for breakfast and simple meals of soup and baguettes, though eating a big meal out once a day is my recommendation. Nespresso coffee machine was a bonus! We would happily stay here again, thank you for the excellent service!

We had a lovely stay in the cottage. The view when the sky is clear is beautiful. It has everything you need. You just have to remember to take quiescent balls to sleep because the sound insulation is very limited.

A great week in Manigod in this charming studio . Everything was perfect . The apartment is very functional, well-equipped, its sunny balcony is very pleasant and its location is ideal: at the foot of the slopes, located in the small center of the resort with everything available. A nice family resort, discovering with my daughters . Everything is made to feel good there. Very easy to communicate with the owners, the exchanges were quick and pleasant . We'll be happy to go back!
