We had a truly wonderful stay at the property! Both the property manager and property owner were incredibly kind and attentive—always quick to respond to any questions we had. The property itself is massive, peaceful, and just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed using the kayaks and exploring the little beach the owner told us about—she gave us clear directions and made sure we felt at home. The location is great too, close to some of the most famous springs in Florida. What truly made this trip special was the unique experience with the animals. The owner rescued a sweet deer that visits in the early morning and at dusk—she warmed up to us quickly and was such a joy to be around. Precious and Ruby, her pets, were also very sweet and friendly, and we were able to feed the deer and spend time with the animals, which we loved. It was a perfect stay, and we’re already planning to come back!

Worth 1000 stars. Can I just say it’s refreshing to find an Airbnb host in this area? Who isn’t price gouging. Collins properties are super reasonably priced. They’re in a beautiful area, you have access to everything, it’s super private, the area is maintained well, so your pets and family will not be covered in ticks and eaten up by mosquitoes, And it’s priced wonderfully. I can’t say enough good things. Plus this host is very easy to work with and very proactive and responsive. The thing I will mention that apparently puts people off is the well water is kind of brown Ish when you take a shower or a bath, also in the sink, but it’s well water and it’s perfectly fine. I had no problems at all, and neither did my dogs. So please chill out on the well water and enjoy this beautiful gem of an Airbnb and this wonderful house. We are so grateful and I will definitely be returning.

Great accommodations and great location. Room was super clean and had all you need. Nice balcony to sit and look over the beach area, and within walking distance to everything. Only recommendation is to provide clearer instructions to using the key pad if you have a late check in. Would definitely stay there again!

Great little place in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself is beautiful. Looks like a dollhouse. The neighborhood is quaint. A step back in time. My only suggestion would be a couple of chairs for the cute little upstairs porch for stargazing.

Terrific spot right on the river, around the corner from the kayak shop so you can paddle over and catch a shuttle up to the KP hole, paddle back down and end at the dock right by your unit. Fantastic time, the place was clean comfortable and well kept. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a riverfront view and easy paddling access, very nice spot. A little tip turn the air down a few hours before you go to sleep the top floor takes a little bit to cool down. Thanks Matt for our stay in your beautiful spot.

Cedar Key has been on our list to visit and it did not disappoint! Staying at Kate made it so much better. We were literally in the middle of everything. We woke up and were able to walk downstairs for a cup of coffee and an amazing breakfast at Prickly Palm. Then, we walked around the island, grabbed some lunch across the street at Steamers/2nd Street Cafe, and spent the evening swinging on the swing on our porch. It was so quiet, everyone was friendly, and the food was amazing. Even though Cedar Key is still working towards rebuilding, there was so much still open to entertain us. Don't miss the Community Garden, Bakery, or all the Art Co-Ops..such an amazing place to relax! We will definitely be back..

Excellent stay. I was in town for an event and towing a 28’ trailer. There was more than enough room and Dennis was helpful in letting me know where to park. The property is peaceful and serene. One of my favorite Airbnb’s to date. I had accidentally locked myself out of the home and Dennis responded right away and sent someone to help me get in very quickly. Great host. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, it was clear the house was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully prepared with all the comforts we could ask for. The kitchen had just enough to make cooking easy and enjoyable. Our host was truly excellent. Very quick to respond to messages and went above and beyond when the security company notified them about the cameras being down, making sure we were okay and getting the WiFi back online right away. We loved the peace and privacy of the property. Its location was ideal for us, offering a quiet escape just outside the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently close to everything we needed. Waking up to the cows and horses in the neighboring pasture was an absolute delight and added so much character to our stay.

Everything was well-stocked—from ample toilet paper and paper towels to a generous supply of towels. We especially appreciated the complimentary touches like coffee and popcorn. The outdoor space was a true gem, with a cute little pergola on the back patio that offered a peaceful spot to unwind. There were plenty of lights and fans, ensuring comfort both indoors and out. The location was also unbeatable—within walking distance of great restaurants and charming antique shops. This stay was everything we could’ve hoped for, and we can't wait to return. Highly recommend this lovely home to anyone visiting the area!

We had an amazing time here. We loved the fact that we got the both of both worlds. It's situated both within a wooded area and near a body of water. The house was very clean. Everything we needed was available and labeled. We love being able to dock our boat. The kids also enjoyed fishing off the dock. The hosts were amazing provided local places to dine and even recommended fishing spots. We loved it here and will definitely book again. Thank you John and Ian for providing this amazing place!

We really enjoyed our stay here. My young son especially enjoyed the little hot tub! There are tons of games which was awesome. We needed the place very last minute and they were able to accommodate us quickly which was much appreciated. The place was adorable but my only small complaint is that the pictures in the listing are stretched and make it appear much larger than it is. This is very common and not meant to be a complaint, per se. Just something to be aware of. The host was great and we enjoyed our stay! Thanks so much for the last minute hospitality!

We had a very nice stay in Cedar Key. The condo was perfect and it was great having the balcony for beautiful sunrises. Only a few minute walk to the beach, dock and restaurants. Thanks!

Amber’s place was the perfect spot for a long weekend family getaway for 5 adults. The surroundings are peaceful and the home, cozy but expansive. All the different indoor and outdoor living areas really enhanced our visit. Playing in the pool, grilling and listening to music on the deck, then watching the thunderstorms roll in during the late afternoons on the screened in porch were such relaxing experiences. Lots of board games were provided but unfortunately we didn’t make time to play. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking all our meals, and there were even tons of spices to use. We planned a trip up to Devils Den and it was less than 10 min away! We also went to WEC and it wasn’t too far either. However, if you’re not a fan of nature, don’t stay here. The barn cats want to be your best friend, and the occasional spider hangs out in the corner. It may be too tranquil for you to listen to roosters crow in the distance or watch the horses frolic in the pastures.

We've been coking to Cedar Key a few times a year for the past 14 years. This was the first time we stayed on that side of the Island. The condo was wonderful, looking forward to booking it again.

Had a great time at the condo. We felt right at home and enjoyed meeting new friends during the unofficial "happy hour". There is no shortage of things to do in the area and this was a great place to stay while visiting our daughter. We will stay here again. The only disappointing thing was that the pool temperature was very cold, but this was not any fault of the hosts themselves, the weather was unusually cold for FL during our stay. We still were able to use the pool during our stay.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. It was clean and decorated nicely. the kitchen had everything we needed and it had a little balcony with beautiful views. We saw many dolphins while we were there which was a nice treat. The bed was comfortable and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We definitely will be returning to stay here again!

We loved our weekend getaway here! Sitting on the deck was so peaceful. So many seabirds and we saw dolphins soon after we arrived. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfy and we enjoyed playing the games they had available. We rented a golf cart and drove around the island and just enjoyed the peaceful scenery of Cedar Key. Ken and Marylee were fantastic with communication from start to finish. We would absolutely stay at their condo again on our next trip to Cedar Key.

The home was small but very clean!! Beds were very comfortable!! We recommend this to future guests!! Host were responsive!! Only issue was the bedroom TV remote didn’t work. Possibly batteries?

I’m a moved away local that our family of 3 needed a place to sleep between family events. Place was very clean and fit our needs. Our son was able to fish the docks and we enjoyed the evenings listening to the river. It’s a thing. The folks that are residents were very friendly, enjoyed that we were locals coming back and had fun swapping stories. We thought we were river side and that was my misreading.
