No. 21 Beautiful Cosy Modern Traditional Cottage

This place is a gem. Beautifully renovated and decorated. So clean and tidy I thought maybe I was the first guest, until I saw all the happy comments in the guest book. Donald is absolutely a top-tier host. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful cottage, with fantastic views! We spent 3 nights at the cottage, when visiting the islands, providing an ideal location for exploring. For two couples and two dogs, we really enjoyed our stay, finding everything we needed in the cottage. Well maintained, with a really nice presentation and welcome treats

This was the highlight of our long trip and met all the high hopes we had. Peaceful surroundings in space which perfectly links the interior comfort and warmth with the panoramic wildness viewed from the lounge and bedroom. Far from the crowds with beautiful drives and walks

Romantic water side cabin. Isle of Harris

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great week. Peaceful and very relaxing. Beautiful location excellent for walking. The accommodation was located ideally for visiting all tourist attractions on the island. The apartment was well furnished to a high standard. Bespoke woodworking was evident throughout adding character to the accommodation.

Calum’s croft is charming and quaint and we found it to be the perfect mix between modern and original. The views were incredible from every window and it was incredibly peaceful. Every detail has been considered and provided for. Calum was an exceptional host and was very proactive with his communication. We encountered some ferry issues and he was very accommodating and reassuring. The record player was a fun touch to have while we enjoyed a fire. We would have loved to know more about Calum’s grandfather and the working croft but we did really enjoy the old photos in the library. If the stars align, we would absolutely love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay, what a beautiful location! One thing we really appreciated was the large selection of dvds on one rainy evening.

Unique luxurious cabin on sea view working croft

Incredible view. We spent both nights on watching the sheep, sunset and sea view. Nice decor, everything you need is there. Clean and cozy. We even got fresh eggs as a welcome gift which was extremely nice. We met Gareth who was super friendly. If we ever return to Stornoway, we know where to stay 😉

Cosy + relaxing coastal cottage - sleeps 2

Christopher Guy HadleyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This is a wonderful place to stay in a glorious location. The house is very well furnished and decorated. The walk down to the sea is a delight and there are paths both left and right along the cliff top. We saw numerous waders and also sea eagles. The drive to Point of Nis is worthwhile as is the trip to Callanish - the stones are accessible even though the centre is closed. There are many books on the bookshelf covering local history, The Changing Outer Hebrides and Children of the Black House are definitely worth dipping in to. This is a great location to explore the delights of Harris and Lewis from.
