The place itself was very clean and felt very homey. All the amenities needed for a stay and very comfortable. wlWe loved the posters of all the places in Scotland. The town of Plockton itself was beautiful! We used it as a base for travels to Skye and the surrounding area but the food in town was great, specifically the Plockton Inn. The hosts were great. very communicative and offered ideas for things in the area. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

A unique place. We felt very serene here on the little island. Super relaxing views from the hot tub and there's kayaks to use (for a fee) that give you great access to the beautiful sheltered bay. Comfy bed too.

Lovely space, perfect for our overnight in Portree! Host was great in providing instructions. Super close to restraints, pubs and a co-op for any last minute shopping needs.

Ground floor, 1 bed/1ba apartment with public street parking 5 min walk outside Stornoway. Pros Lovely view of the lighthouse & harbor from the living room. Easy, free on-street parking (it's not a busy main road), super easy in/out of town by car. Great to have a dryer in this climate. Big TV. Comfortable layout, well designed, with big windows in kitchen, living room and bedroom. Good running route around the harbor and castle. The apartment has nice touches: double curtains, good kitchen amenities, quality stoneware dishes, local books (mix of local fiction and non fiction), automatic nightlights, blackout curtains, many hooks for jackets, towels, etc., plenty of extra towels in various sizes, extra blankets, and a picnic bench w/pop-up table. It feels very well thought-out and very comfortable. Cons No sound proofing, can hear neighbors above walking, moving around. We're full time travelers by car in the EU/UK/Balkans, staying in more than 85 apartments over the past 4 years

came for our honeymoon. could not have dreamt of a more romantic and beautiful place. we Only met briefly Neil, but from the exchanges we had we can attest how friendly and nice the hosts are. the place is nicely furnished, all the equipment we needed to cook our own food. you are very close to portree and from the junction to go to Talisker. the surroundings are amazing. waking up surrounded by the lake, the mountains the lambs playing in the grass.... the perfect scottish, croft experience.

Had a great stay here in Carbost — the space was warm and comfortable with great views of the water (also loved being able to watch the passing snowstorm from the cozy couch). Really enjoyed walking the footpath to the distillery and pub/inn at the bottom of the hill, everyone we met in the area was extremely friendly and welcoming. Great location for accessing the Cuillins with hiking options nearby. Would definitely love to stay here again! Thanks Carbost Holiday Apartments!

Hector’s place was very comfortable, easy to access and you couldn’t beat the location. The flat is very spacious with beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Hector was great to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries. The Cafe below is an added bonus.

Lovely little house, Ideal local in the village and lots of lovely places locally to visit. The house is well equipped with all the essentials you need,beds lovely and comfortable,large garden area which suited us with the dogs Would go back tomorrow,the view every morning when you get up will not be forgotten

We enjoyed a delightful long weekend at Croft 41. The house was perfect for our needs (two families with kids), the location absolutely stunning, and the wood-fired hot tub was also real highlight! Rachel is a very friendly and communicative host. Would definitely return in the future if we were looking to stay in this beautiful corner of Skye.

We stayed here at this lovely home as we explored Skye. There were three of us and we enjoyed the home and all the space we had to spread out in. Great nature watching here, and a nice view of the castle! Michelle and Matt were both helpful when we hit a snag here and there. Issues were quickly and easily resolved. The issues were on our end in terms of understanding how certain things worked. Nice instructions for checking in and out. Great dining recommendations as well. Hopefully we can return here in the future a bit later in summer when perhaps wind and rain are not so ferocious.

What a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Skye. Everything was wonderful, and the garden was delightful.

We felt right at home in Josephine’s home in Dornie. It was a perfect home base for driving to Kyle, Isle of Skye, and some of the smaller towns nearby. The home was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Josephine was great at giving recommendations for things to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay!

If you are staying in portree this is a must stay! The house was absolutely perfect. It was very clean, decorated beautifully and you can’t beat the location looking out at the water. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4. We enjoyed making charcuterie boards and sitting outside on the bench overlooking the water. The beds were comfy, we were greeted with some snacks upon arrival. Their website was an added touch. Definitely recommend

Der Aufenthalt bei Margaret hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wohnbereich, Küche und Bad waren sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Highlight waren auch für unsere 3köpfige Familie die beiden Schlafzimmer und das Extra-Bad im Obergeschoss, jeder Raum mit Ausblick. Während unseres Aufenthaltes haben wir den Norden von Skye erkundet und sind viel gewandert (Quirang, Old Man of Stor, Fairy Glen). Zum Abendessen würden wir gern The Galley empfehlen, sind aber leider nicht reingekommen - man sollte rechtzeitig reservieren. Die Alternative vom Anchor gleich unten am Pier war aber auch sehr gut.

We loved the quiet rural setting on the loch with colours changing in the light all day long. The villages and towns in the area had some good restaurants and we found many places for long walks. The facilities at the house were adequate for cooking and leisure. The only downside, which did not affect us really, were some peculiarities that we've never before encountered in the many airBNBs we have rented in the past: several rooms, closets and cupboards were locked and off-limits; and many rather unnecessary "polite advice" signs posted. In our previous experience, the number of guests has had no effect on access.

This apartment is in a fantastic location right on the harbor. It's not apparent by the photos, but the entire three floors is included (entrance is on ground floor, kitchen and living room on second floor and two bedrooms on third floor). It was nice having a bathroom in each bedroom. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was spacious. This rental was our most expensive while touring Scotland for 10 days, but perhaps Isle of Skye is just more costly due to supply and demand.

This was a beautiful place to stay! Peaceful, quiet and very well equipped. Kenny was an excellent host with clear instructions, easy check in and very responsive. Having a kitchen was great to do your own cooking and very convenient having a washer and dryer to use in the facility. I would 100% recommend to anyone planning a trip to Skye!

A very homely environment. Marie is a great host and was on hand when needed and happy to give recommendations of places to visit and eat. We had a wonderful time here and definitely will return.

We had such a lovely stay at Taigh Glas Studio! Lita and Carol made us feel incredibly welcome – with lots of helpful information beforehand and always quick to respond if we had any questions. The studio was spotless and really well thought out – we especially appreciated the generous welcome goodies and a well-stocked fridge, which made settling in so easy after a long journey. It’s those thoughtful touches that really make a difference. The views were absolutely stunning out the window, we enjoyed watching the different weather roll in from the loch. Skye itself was beautiful, and it was always a treat to come back to the cozy comfort of the studio after a day of exploring. Lovely modern accommodation, more spacious than the photos suggest. Big comfy bed and good shower. Lovely views and easy to park right outside the door. Sheena was a fantastic host who was really helpful when my ferry was cancelled. Would highly recommend as a base for seeing the Islands.

This was a fantastic place to stay - a haven at the end of a busy day. Much thought has been put into extra touches - treats in the fridge and cupboards, dressing gowns, high quality linen - and the outlook over Loch Lada is beautiful. The well equipped kitchen lends itself to cooking in. The appliances are new and we appreciated the supplies of washing powder and dishwasher tabs. We loved everything about this place!

We had a great stay at South Erradale and enjoyed meeting Onie and Ally, and their lovely new puppy! The flat is perfect for exploring the local area and we couldn’t recommend it more. Be sure to enjoy the local walks

sehr schöne Unterkunft mit sehr guter Ausstattung der Küche. Haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Einziger Kleinigkeit die vielleicht negativ sein könnte, ist die abgeschiedene Lage der Unterkunft. dadurch Bedarf es etwas an Fahrtzeit um zur anderen Seite der Inseln zu kommen und sollte berücksichtigt werden. Sonst alles perfekt :)
