Short distance to the airport (5 min by car) and 3 min to walk to the sea with opportunities to fish, swim and hike. There is a bus connection to the light rail which is 3 km away. The light rail runs from the airport and into Bergen city center. It is also possible to take the express boat that stops just down by the quay (3 min walk) and takes 35 minutes to Bergen city center. Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. The micro house is located in peaceful and scenic surroundings in Solbakken- tunet på Os. Above the house is Galleri Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house, goats graze, and you overlook some free range hens, and some alpacas across the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is wonderful to sit to take in the surroundings and feel the calm. There are also great hiking trails close by.
